Some advice - those Japanese tv shows are mindless and incomprehensible - but watching that crap is a key way to get used to listening to and understanding Japanese. If you want to learn Japanese, as tiring as it is, I'd really suggest avoiding English movies as much as possible, at least at first. Some J-vloggers there I don't know so thanks for the tip, I'll check them out.
