I had this operation on september, and hell yeah, I had this hole from birth, but doctors didn't see anything. The hole was huge, about 4cm diameter, ass they said after the surgery - just as a bottom of a normal glass. WOW, and I lived with that defect for 20 years without knowing about it.. Happy to be alive:)

@LightSunshine Same here i had my surgery two years ago the hole was an inch wide didnt know it was there for 24 years so happy to be here and see my kids grow up :)

i didn´t know that i have this cind of illnes till i was 17 years old. my heart-beating was very loud and irregular and i often felt tired. now i feel much better int´s great!

yes exactly it was about 37 mm (!!!) and the doctors didn´t see it after my birth^^ maybe they where blind two months ago i went to the hospital because i my shoulder hurt... and they wanted to look at my heart because of the beating of my heart. then it was found and one month later i had my operation.

that is sick! good thing they didnt do that like that on me. i got my down last thursday and they did it with a tube through the leg. They fished it up through the hole in heart and the end popped out liike and unbrella acting like a patch and pushed it back through and i was done! i had to holes. 1 in 12 million people have more then 1 hole. 1/5th of the population even has one hole!
