This is the only time I can say Adrian Paul has let me down. Pay attention how they keep mentioning The Series because they were counting on you and me to support the movie. But no matter how much you love the television series, this thing was horrible in more ways the one: only the three original actors (Adrian Paul, Peter Wingfield and Jim Byrnes) were good--the rest of the actors were HORRIBLE. The story was horrible--they should have brought some of the original writers of the show. /cont.

I own all the movies, the entire series and even Highlander Raven. The more i find out about Adrian Paul the more dissapointed i get. How could anyone think this movie would be good? One of the best things about the original Highlander movie was that it didn't try to explain the origins and only at the end did Connor somewhat explain what the prize entailed. Adrian is talking about character development, the trouble is the film has none of it. One of the best things that the series did was show how people change and are affected by events during history. It was because they are immortal that they got to experience events in history and it shaped them. The film was a disgrace missing everything that made the series great. ie a strong lead character, flashbacks that add to the story, great sword fights etc

Peter Davis and Bill Panzer of Davis/Panzer Productions, the producers, in conjunction with Lionsgate Entertainment, are presently editing and remixing the film. This final cut will be delivered to Lionsgate on or about March 15, 2007.

The film takes place in an "Post-Apocalyptic future". Highlander was always about concurrency with history and the times that went by. Its how it always was.

Sure, the world we live in sucks and all..But not at that rate! And HL should never be about "predicting" the future at any rate (both behind cameras and in-universe). Both HL2 and Source seem cut out because there is no sense of reality...At least, at this stage, HL2 offered a hopeful message about the enviroment. The Source does nothing.
