  • SAVE YOUR MONEY and buy a reliable 9

  • This guy has forgotten more than most know.

    He know his stuff.

  • HAHAHA!!! The way he holds the gun while showing it reminds me of the girls from "The Price Is Right"

  • "Lda Duh"

    lol

  • I'm all for owning a gun or two,but where the hell is this guy hanging out to be carrying guns out to dinner? why so paranoid james bond?

  • @geektoro better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

say that after you're robbed in the parking lot where you ate dinner. it happens. last month someone kicked in my door and robbed me. i caught the bastard coming back a few days later and took him into custody since i am armed anytime i'm not at work.

    not paranoia, its being prepared.

  • @apheod i agree completely but iam still sick of people screaming at me that if i don't have a arsenal of guns ill die iv seen commercials of a girl deck out in gear with a AR 15 and it said "if you don't protect your family NO ONE WILL" such horse shit

  • Guns don't go in pockets. Guns go in holsters.

If a gun is going in your pocket, it should be in a holster, in your pocket.

  • I got a brand new Para USA Hawg 9 and it is by far the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned. Over 300 rounds and 99% were failure to feed and stovepipe jams. I have never fired a full clip yet. Been back at the factory for 4 weeks now and have not received a email or phone call. Also after the 300 rounds 30% of the finish has wore off. I will never buy a Para product again and you should never consider one.

  • @ECUPIRATE88 I should never consider a Para product huh? Well the fact that Todd Jarret put a 1000 rounds through it with no FTF/FTE makes me think otherwise but your entitled to your opinion. And Im sure if Para had the problems you described they would no longer be in business.

  • @SayNo2Terror Look into the reviews of their guns and you will find numerous horror stories. You will find a enormous amount of contrasting malfunctions and when you look at the scope of production compared to the number of malfunctioning guns you will see their products are of terrible quality. Thats why you will never hear of Para USA in the same realm of Ruger, Beretta, S&W, Colt or even Kimber.

  • I just got one of these and the rounds are very loose in the magazine, they do not seem to fit very tightly, is this normal?

  • the thing he say about the safety in cocked and locked pistol is the truth..

  • for a subcompact light carry 9mm NOTHING beats a glock 26, you dont need to oil the magazine, obsessively clean it oe tweek anything, out of the box it goes BANG every time. I would never get one of these, I have a Kimber pro carry and that is my winter 45 carry, rest of the time, G26, G 19 or summer time my ruger LCP, all are more reliable, who cares about looks I want a gun that will save my life with no issues. good luck to all the owners.

  • @JackSureshot I'll second that about the baby Glock. 10 shots, small and super reliable. Ever since 1911 (the year) 99% of 1911 owners have tried to tweak that pistol. Stubborn. I have Sigs and Glocks so I can shoot and not repair at the range.

  • Ill Stick with My P-10. 11 Rounds of of 45ACP in a 1911 3 inch barrel package. Sure its heavier but its more reliable. I would NOT put my life on the line and carry the Carry 9......... My opinion....

  • COOL

  • You should just stay in the gym all day and night.

  • I have one of these and it is the most unreliable gun i have. FTF and Stove pipe about 25% of the time. Cleaned and re-cleaned, oiled and re-oiled. No better. Too bad.

  • I just ordered one...

you know anyone else with similar experiences?

  • You should simply buy a glock 17 9mm. Cheap and prolly the most reliable gun ever with the Sig p226

  • Yea I agree with you but I'm not carrying around a full size gun all day. Too hard to conceal and I hate that Glock grip

  • i didnt like the glock handle also but i got one of those rubber grips you put over the factory grip and it feels perfect if you havnt tried that check it out

  • The problem for me is the handle's too damn wide. Can't get enough of my hand around the thing

  • Have you tried a new magazine? Have you cleaned the magazines that came with the gun? Para-Ord seem to be using some kind of gooey lubricant inside the magazines that needs to be cleaned out completely. Just take it apart, spray the magazine body on the inside with lubricant to loosen that stuff. Wipe dry and reassemble. The plastic follower needs no lubrication. I have at least six of Para-Ordnance's hi-cap pistols (and three dozen magazines) and they are the most reliable of all, like Glocks.

  • I'd get one of those. Only because Glocks are fucking ugly. +5 on the shower joke

  • @Shittywaffles well that is true but the glock is 1 of the best pistols out there i would reconsider your thoughts so watch some videos on the glock

  • get a P99

  • What? I"m confused... Shoot, rack the slide, shoot rack the slide? Help me understand grasshoppa'....

  • He's merely demonstrating the action's trigger pull. The bullet's recoil would do the racking in a live-fire situation.

  • double action only? That's a real piece of shit.

  • Kool gun I want one of these. Thanks for the review...

  • that's 'limited double action' dip shit. read the brochre

  • thats light double action dip shit i own one

  • With a concealed carry pistol there is always a compromise somewhere with the caliber you want vs size/weight/recoil. I have one of these and love it. Its big advantage over the glock is that is thinner. If you have a gunsmith shave the safety it is about the thinnest pistol you can carry. I think the Walther PSS might be a shade thinner. Low recoil and a very accurate pistol. A good compromise between a .45 and .380. Great for people that don't like polymer pistols.

  • I had to run to my safe and get a set of ear plugs to watch this video.

  • its not a double action,

more like a disgusied single action.

  • I love my Para Carry 9 . My mags hold 9rds and 1 in the pipe. They are built very well ,very thick barrel. paid $750 new. I carry this over my Glocks because its thinner.

  • Great Review... I'm looking for something like this for carry. I also found the Para Hawg 9, but I can't find any video reviews!!!!

  • For the size I will stick with my Glock 19.

    15+1 > 8+1

  • yea plus you can upgrade to 32!

  • Will not be concealable when loaded but nonetheless it is doable.

  • true, but good to have handy

  • Nice. I didn't see anything major wrong with his shooting, the one time he went high would still have been a kill shot. End of story for that thug.

May have to look into that for myself. I've been thinking off and on about doing the concealed carry, this might be a good wep for it.

  • Anyone else see a ricochet at the first shot in :14 i dont think it was a casing.

  • not sure but it happens all the time when shooting those kinda targets... when i trained i we got hit with them all the time... its really hot but its not gonna hurt u... just burn a little but a casing from the gun next to u does the same... no big deal

  • Nice flinch at :17!

  • How does this solve the problem of carrying the weapon in your pocket with it chocked? Just because it has a safety? Well you would easily click off the safety without know it and that light trigger would be easy to set off when removing it from your pocket.

  • Why would you put your finger on the trigger with the gun in your pocket.

  • You might accidentally do it when your pulling it out.

  • You should always know where your finger is. It doesn't go on the trigger until you are on target.

  • go to shooting school

  • @bubbiesdad Because he doen't know what the hell he's talking about!lol

  • Para Carry's have the LDA system... they're not cocked and locked dude... much safer than cocked and locked for pocket carry... don't let the light trigger fool you... it still takes an intentional act of pulling it... a very long stroke required... I carry cocked and locked myself... just like the J-frame S&W most people stuff in their pocket or purse everyday... and actually safer b/c it's carried on-safe.

  • Looks like a nice pistol, Para-USA has some nice weapons.

  • i like that silver thing ontop of it!

  • Goodness that's some serious resonance on that target!

  • Just purchased a Carry 9 it's 24 oz empty weight. Yes, you can get the 45 version but the 9mm I prefer, less kick.

  • i hve the cco 45 stainless 45 3.5 in. barell great trigger shoots like a full size 1911 worth the money

  • i own 2 full size 1911's, but i would never carry one with the hammer cocked back,im just not gonna do it,i love the 1911 frame so this was the winner for me, im not gonna spend $1000.00 plus for a 45. so i got this in 9mm.fast accurate am very happy!!!

  • The Para Carry does come in .45. I carry the first edition 6.45.

  • this good information, however one question, on the LDA, when the cock the weapon, I noticed that you pulled the trigger slightly did that allow the weapon to fire, then or is another step of the pulling the trigger to get it fire

  • sir does that gun comes in 45acp or just 9mm?

  • 9mm.

  • They make a .45 version of that pistol.
