The mayan calendar theory is so BS it's ridiculous. Does the world come to an end on december 31st every year? The calendar wasn't built at the start of their civilization, but at the start of the galactic cycle. The end of the calender marks a full rotation of the galaxy (milky way) IIRC or some other cosmic cycle.

If there was made to predict the beginning and end of life, it probably would have started with their civilization.

@MoviesInWebsites - the question is "what is it?" the fact is that there are remarkable changes taking place but there is a large chance that mindsets are part of the change - if our planet is alive and we are collective organisms then it makes sense that we take on a planetary attitude and that people will essentially change. the biggest fear is that earth will need to make a change that requires parts of the surface to be uninhabitable.

@mike45011 - what I mean by being ruled is that it is possible that planets have relationships and these relationships include a vibration or energy interaction between planets - if a planet cycles out of a relationship we might lose the perks of that planet and gain the attributes of the next planet in line. this is all assumption but it makes sense that the planets either interact or consider themselves part of a whole that is the solar system or what we call the universe.
