Can anyone comment on the Tanglewood TW45 H SR E ?? Gorgeous looking guitar and wondered if any one would recommend it or has played and let me know how it feels:)
Dont forget Tanglewood great range of electric and semi acoustic guitars as well! Brilliant Guitars. I have the thinline semi, TSB59VS and it kills any Epiphone equivalent!
I'm absolutely gutted that I managed to put a couple of nasty dents in the front by accident earlier this year. I've since put a massive blob of blue tack on the corner of the desk to stop that happening again!
Especially as I recently found out that I payed about £100 less than the RRP on the website....
i bought tw47 i love it. then after a few months i got the tw1000 h src b but return it cuz their are flaws with the construction of the guitar. what happened to tanglewood quality control?
I think it's really cheesy using the grand canyon to advertise English guitars. And the guitar in the song doesn't sound like a Tanglewood it sounds like an E335. I think that song was recorded before Tanglewoods were invented. But I think Tanglewoods are fantastic. It does depend on what sound you want, but I have five Guilds and two Washburns and some other stuff, and I still play my cheap Tanglewood more than any of them. And I'd buy a Tanglewood over a same priced Martin or Taylor .
Hi, i'm pretty new to guitars could someone tell me the difference between the Tanglewood TW155 AS and TW155 ST, They look pretty much the same but i've noticed the ST is slightly cheaper than the AS on some websites
The AS model is "All Solid" woods (Spruce top and Mahogany sides and back); the ST model has a "Solid Top" only (spruce top, pieced Mahogany sides and back). This is reflected in the price.
@LeahClay1 Keep an eye out for that, because a lot of the AS models now are solid top, solid back but NOT solid sides. Not that it makes that much difference. I think this mainly occurs in the Sundance range, anything with a 1 in it eg. TW115-AS, TW145-ASCE, TW155-AS etc.
Depends what your gonna do with it, if you just playing at home then great, nice and cheap, replace the strings for something better quality.. if your using it to gig or studio.. .forget it, problems with tuning but most of al problem with sound.
I've just bought a Tanglewood TW 45 Heritage after trying loads of different makes and models. Around £500 and it's as good as guitars costing much more. Equally suited to strumming and picking, quite loud acoustically and with a very good B-Band pickup/EQ section.
Eventually, I'll get round to posting a video showing it in action...
to tell you the absolute truth, tanglewood guitars are in my opinion the best guitar on the market...period. i own two, a tw15-dlx and a tw28-ycsr. i am completely satisfied with these guitars and will never buy another brand. thank you for designing a guitar made by guitarists by guitarists
Gostaria de um comentario sobre o violão tanglewood TW28. Comprei um agora, mas achei meio duro (as Cordas). Amacia com o tempo?

I bought a tw 115 st electro acoustic it matches a 36 year old fender f75 acoustic for sound and can match a lot of expensive acoustics for sound to.

Tanglewood guitars are brilliant, handcrafted in U.K, not extemely expensive, as good as Gibson or Taylor acoustic guitar

@kdlkg what were those flaws? I just bought a TW1000 Heritage and it plays like a dream and I can't see any fault with it's construction.
