Cheaptrick can make anything cool. Though Transformers are pretty cool to begin with. The cartoons were awesome, when I was growing up, and so was Cheaptrick. Now, many years later (like over 20... ) they meet.

I mean after all he did become Rodimus Prime.You have to take into consideration where films, animation and story lines were in 1986. My little girl who is 6 loves all of the original stuff. They went to the set they viewed the live action Transormers, worked with the voice actors and this is what they came up with. I personally like all the theme music. This version played on the radio in the background in Bumblebee :D Don't worry man, I don't hold it against you...you have good taste :D

Why the hell don't they actually put the Transformers theme, this or any other, in the films? I'm sick and tired of "New Divide".

Frankly, though, I'm not really impressed with this theme. It isn't the band or anything, but the fact that this theme is little more than a recycled version of the 1986 Transformers movie theme which was directed Unicron, not The Fallen. Taking something that was already golden, rewriting a few lyrics, and calling it a new theme is cheap and uncreative.
