p38 was the code name given to the second generation range rover when it was under development. Its used very commonly now for distinguishing them from the classic and L322 range rover (02 on)

@crinside Its weird how it got that name. Its initial code name was "Pegasus" and the research and development took place in hangar number 38A... Hence P38a, everyone just calls it a P38 though.
