  • awww i have BP too. BP 1 tho...so my mania gets reallly crazy but its less often. ur so cute btw lol

  • It's cool that weed works for you, but I wouldn't recommend smoking marijuana to people who have psychosis as a symptom of Bipolar, because there are several studies indicating those with psychosis can increase its severity by smoking marijuana regularly (usually for a long time). It can also cause people with a predisposition to developing psychosis (familial history of psychosis) to develop psychotic symptoms. So I'd be careful, but good luck to you :)

  • Holy shit, your like a female version of me, seriously wow.

  • every one is suffering from something. is part of our lives.

  • Very creative. Do you meditate? If not maybe Google terms like- bipolar + insight meditation, mindfulness. Mindfulness is simple awareness of what your mind and body are doing in the present moment. I'm not bipolar , but this meditation has evened out my life's up's and downs. You say your episodes are gone before you can do anything? If you get good at this meditation (results can come quick) you will be able to catch more and more of whats really going on in your mind. Changed my life :)

  • You're hot so you can get away with anything, so long as it is done to a guy.

  • The only problem with street marijuana is that it's unregulated.

Ever smoked weed that was hydroponically grown, and fucked-up chemicals were added?

Yeah, it gave me brain damage.

  • @DrFuckingPepper weed gave you brain damage? I don't think so man

  • I also have been "treated" with Lithium, Depakote, Abilify, Zyprexa, Effexor, Lamictal, yada, yada.

All all I got were very bad side effects: obesity, diabetes, dystonia, yada, yada and no benefit.

    I refused ECT

Cannabis works the best for mood stabilization, and insomnia for me. The benefits from smoking weed outweigh the disadvantages.

  • Write to my Brother he has Bipolar 1, he was put in prison, KF9237 Joseph Gianguzi SCI Camp Hill P.O.Box 200 Camp Hill, Pa 17001-8837, he feels forgotten, he spends 23 hours a day locked in a room with nothing inside, hes getting worse. Just wish him well. Hes very depressed.

  • I understand you soo much! Unfortunaly it's quite difficult to get "it" (^^) in Germany, somehow strange.. well but I wanna try it! The last 6 years were so hard.. When my english were better I would love to talk to you, e-mail or something like that - but it's not the best at the moment, sorry for that bad english (; My cat is also my very best friend -> i love him so damn much, nobody can understand. All the best to you <3 Stay strong! ^^

  • fix your face

  • i love you and i soo believe you can overcome thiss, i have bipolar nd absolutely hate medication, i have adhd TOO! nd hate the medication.. all i rely on is new era hats, nikes, and potent chronic, and it gets me threw every dayy, and my puppy bow, and im very sorry for your lose i hope u find a new companion asap =)

  • Everybody is too different to apply a general, 'don't do it' or 'it's fine'

It was messing me up a bit and making my anxiety worse at times (stoped about 3-4 weeks ago, props to me ^.^), then you have my mates who smoke maybe not quite as much as i did, but still alot and are non-the worse. People need to stop thinking their own ideas are the best idea for someone else, we're just all too unique.

Good video btw, shame though, hate to see a pretty girl so sad (and anyone for that matter)

  • I empathize. I have BP1, Paranoia, and mixed mania. I am so f'ing tired of people telling me you shouldn't smoke pot with BP. Tell the religious types and anti drug ppl. to get real. I feel calmer after and my anxiety goes way down. Geodon, Risperdone, Lamictal, you name it I have tried it. Smoking cannibis is a hell of lot better than taking Klonipine and Ambien for insomnia caused by racing thoughts. The thoughts just won't stop at night.

  • oh i forgot to mention, you need to have people on your side!!!! you must educate those around you so they dont have preconceived notions of ignorance but of truth, honesty, correctness, logic, love. you need to be around people, tell them the truth about your mental conditions and cannabis as a medicine, try to open yourself to who you are, and what is, and what will be in this existance we call life on earth. to those who are new to cannabis, LEARN FIRST. dont be ignorant! be wise! peace!!!

  • Thank you so much for your bravery for this video to be up, because I too am bipolar and use cannabis as my medicine. i have been using for almost 2 years, but not under professional medical marijuana prescribed help, i will soon get into this world of the cannabis culture insted of the illegal underground even tho i get medical from friends ;) i really want everyone to know, YOU CAN HAVE SUCCESS IN YOUR HEALTH PROBLEMS BY CORRECT USE OF CANNABIS. and educate yourself! peace love truth honesty!

  • Fuck... we are two of a kind... I started balling when I heard you talking about this...

  • Damm that's insperational! Free the medical! go the safe way the green way:)

  • my condolences for your bunny... I'd be close to an animal as well 'cause i have avpd.. it's hard to "trust" people.. I applaud for your efforts to be expressive.. I can't imagine myself doing so.. I'm glad you're doing better.. I too wish to be taking cannabis, medicinal cannabis for a wide range of psychological ailments that stem from asperger syndrome and hormonal causes.. =_=##.. I'm "surprised" i'm still alive.. I feel like a lot of people aren't supposed to know me by now..

  • @thebenchwarmer I hope it works out for me.. It should judging by so many testimonies and it's longgg history of it's known use for medicinal purposes.. Cannabis has been used as a medicine in america up till it's weird-ass prohibition.. which was targeted at other races... >>

  • Sorry about your bunny :o(

Im am bipolar with manic depression and find the older im getting the harder it is to cope.

Its nice to know im not alone with not wanting to take meds.

Ive been seeking Counseling to see if the extra help will get me through the hard times i seem to have.

I know what you mean about when a pet dies :o( i was almost catatonic when my 14yr old lab died in my arms.

Keep your head up and keep being yourself.

thanks for being brave enough to share this..

  • The Pills worked for a while until an Episode I had tiped the scales and I took an entire bottle of seriquil yeah like 5800mg and no I didn't fall asleep for three days after taking them. well anyway I think this event tipped my already over worked Liver to the brink of failure. Now I discontinued all of my pills and yes the withdrawals were pure hell but you know what helped......Yeah. and you know what the only medication I take now to treat the episodes.....yeah and you know what it works.

  • @NoxisNorml Did you experience any signs of liver damage? Were you hospitalized to treat your overdose?

    Thank you.

  • @incognitobrain for me there were no sign's. However had I stayed on the medication they had me taking....I would not be here..... I was hospitalized for the suicide attempt but no no stomach pumping or anything like that I was alert and focused. Thing is the push from the OD is what my body needed it was "Adjusted" to the pain from the meds so it went unnoticed. They did full work up. colonoscopy at 27 and found 4 precancerous polyps. blood work showed decreased function.

  • @incognitobrain On the other side of things though. This happened last winter since I have lost 70Lbs. been (medication) free since, have been stable enough mentally to be awarded 50/50 placment of my two wonderful little girls all thanks to a plant I knew would work all along and yeah now I like the song "Live like you were dying" Sadly I also hate country so I don't hear it often.

  • I think I may have bipolar, I get depressed out of nowhere even if im in the happiest mood and it get worse everytime it hits :/

  • @Colby1236 trust me, you don't wanna fight this fight alone. you need people on your side. High percentage of bipolar sufferers commit suicide while having one of those severely depressive episodes. I know I sound like a pain in the ass, but if we're talking about bipolar, I have to be honest.

  • @incognitobrain idk, I just dont wanna talk to my parents about it or have to see doctors and takes meds..

  • @Colby1236 this evil progresses fast. at least it did for me. you might not want to feel like you're sick (there's an adjustment period) or that you need to take medications for the rest of your life. HOWEVER you cannot decide to self medicate right now. I don't know how old you are, but if you're a teen, please consider the volatile nature of your age and that left untreated BIPOLAR will ravish your psyche, leaving you in ruins thinking: what the fuck did I do to deserve this? Please seek help.

  • @incognitobrain Im 17 and I feel like even though they get worse I can still push myself through them. I guess my biggest fear is telling my mom about it, I dont know how she will react

  • I think pot is a totally realistic alternative to meds, I don't smoke but I used to and it does work. if you smoke all the time it works. I don't think people should smoke pot to self medicate I think bipolars should stop playing the victim role and have some self control and will power. All those meds cause neurological problems, liver damage and or diabetes. It should be up to the person if they want to let the disease ruin them or if they want to fix it on their own or be on meds.

  • @incognitobrain and im sorry about your bunny :'(

  • @Colby1236 i feel you bro, im currently diagnosed with depression and anxiety but sometimes i feel unbelievably good, it's like a zen of happiness im so at peace but then i have a day like today where all the usual bad thoughts come back. trying to talk to someone with bpd to ask about their experience with but no luck so far. Lemme know how it goes with you

    s206959@gmail.com

  • @Colby1236 i know how u feel bro. I'm currently diagnosed with anxiety and depression but sometimes i feel so unbeatable, nothing matters, it's a zen of happiness and contentment, then i have a day like today that's horrible. Trying to find someone with bpd to ask a few questions and compare symptoms/episodes with but no luck so far. Lemme know how you go

    s206959@gmail.com

  • @swingerofmoods69 Oh, gosh, no, no, I don't want you to think I'm trying to push it on people. I'd never do that. I'm just saying it may help. I'm in no way competent to tell anyone whether or not they should take their medication. I wish you the best with your bipolar and hope whatever the medicine you're taking is working well for you, because it's the only thing that matters. :) Listen to your gut and don't just take your doctor's word for it. Peace.

  • good video, theres alot of studies proving effectiveness of marijuana for this "disorder" but still you would know yourself better than anyone else. i think back in the day bipolar was called "mania"? and back then before prohibition cannabis was the main medicine people took for it. of course doctors wont tell you that they rather give you pills that are toxic and damaging to the organs.

  • @CantWeedThis thank you. I agree. I had bad reactions to some drugs. Like abilify - anxiety and inability to sit still for a minute; wellbutrin - a couple of weeks into taking it (probably when my body accumulated a certain amount of it) I started feeling very dizzy and nauseous. Lithium did absolutely NOTHING for me. I've read it's been proven to be INEFFECTIVE for rapid cycling bipolar, which is what I was diagnosed with... So why was I on lithium again? People, do your own research!

  • Marijuana is a safe substance. Stick with it and best of luck!

  • @HaveFunSpectatin Thank you. :)

  • Stick with the Marijuana ---Don't take that man made pills crap they give you. Peace

  • @420isNormal thanks for the support. I plan to! :)
