Hi, sorry for the delay, I just got back from NAB in Las Vegas. You can save your effect as a preset by right hand mouse clicking on the effect in the Effect Controls Panel, and then select "Save as Preset". You can give it whatever name you want. It will then appear in your "Presets" folder in your Effects Panel.
No, you can't save custom transitions, You can set a transition as the default in your General Preferences, including the duration, but that's it. You could copy and paste your customized transition.
Finaly a video tutorial with some depth. This was great, realy.

but thats for effects. Is there a way to save transitions?
For example i customise a "Dip to Black" transitions. After that i want to use this transitions on 50 clips.
