Thank you for a great knitting lesson. It was great to see how you corrected mishaps and I love the comments about tension and how to use your fingers effectively!
I didnt really get this video as much as your last one. I think its because of the lighting and the color of your thread it made it hard to see what you were doing
This was VERY helpful...since I'm just learning the Knit Stitch! Thanks so much....would love to see how to cast on, purl stitch and any other stitch for a beginner.
Yes there is no right or wrong way to knit, but I do think it is better to wrap the yarn around the right hand fingers, the tension is more even and the project grows at a faster rate. When doing two colour knitting you hold the main colour in the right hand and knit the contrast colour in the left as in the continental style shown here. It is good to knit in thsi was as it helps prevent the yarn from getting tangled.
Very cool. I learned the throwing off method many years ago. I made simple sample strips but then I never stuck with it. I'd so much like to get back into it sometime. Thanks for the info and I enjoy your videos. :D
Minnie May, it's the Romedawg. Such a cool concept. Well, you know, a good video. :) Instructional too. It's great to see you back. Looking forward to seeing more from you soon. Take care and happy knitting. :) ROMAN

Thanks for this video. My only complaint is that your yarn was so dark that it was hard to view the stitches.

I do that (not the wrapping part) on my argyle knitting, it does help to keep the colors apart if you have one in each hand.

I usually knit by throwing the yarn (I think they call it the German style or something). It seems that most people who knit do it continental style.
