  • Thank you as I just bought this calculator online and your video made this calculation so much easier for me.

  • Thanks! Does anyone know if you can do the FV calculation adding dates component. i.e. you set a buy and sell dates (i.e. as a bond).

  • why do you need to hit negative on these calculators? I don't get that.

  • Your example did not compute the future value with simple interest. You just computed the future value of one year with compound interest. The formulas are:

    simple= (1+it) and compound=(1+i)^t

    and they are the same with t=1 year.

    I don't think you know what you're talking about.

  • what if you don't have the time and your looking for the time??...how do u solve it?

  • @jackiesanchai what do you mean you don't have time. if you have 10,000 now, with interest 6 percent, and the future value (FV) in N=3 years is just what that guy did in the video. so you get the future value from today to three years ahead.

    i.e. FV=?, N=3, i/y=6, PV=10,000

    compute -->FV

  • Hey man thank you for your video tutorial. Your explanation is actually better than the text book itself and you save me a lot of time.

    Thanks

  • You just saved my friends white ass. he will do anything to repay you. Hope you have a good day. sir. "COMPUTE, Yeah baby"
