The only disappointing things about Despised live is Steve cant do the pig squeals at all live. If he could do them like he does on the albums then they would be flawless performance wise. and my only other complaints are that both vocalists are borderline Wiggers! The basketball jerseys and the 50's style hats gotta go. and the Day Of Mourning video was the GAYEST most Embarrassing borderline rap video ive ever seen, and a disgrace to Metal videos. Other than that Despised DESTROYS!

@iixlovex40z one of a few deathcore bands I actually enjoyed, the healing process is a sick sick album, that is coming from a death metal listener, I really never followed them after the healing process, they were sick when I saw them play with Morbid Angel, Behemoth, Krisiun in L.A. in '06. me and my friend pitted to them, traditional pitting, but I digress...They are a sick mix of death metal, grind, and i guess hardcore, nonetheless they are sick in this vid.

to be honest I'm not sure what's considered 'Core' anymore, the new All Shall Perish album is far from Core but if it is, then that's not stereotypical, From the Shallows, The Red Shore, With Blood Comes Cleansing.. but I guess these bands are much smaller, bands like ABRB, Suicide Silence, BMTH etc seem to be the more obvious 'Core' structured bands.

You can't name them Deathcore.It's a perfect mix of Death/Grind/Hardcore.

The modern style of Napalm Death in some way.

You can name them DESPISED ICON and that's enough!

Anyway the best band of the 2000's decade.

(Except their last one which is a bad recycled copy of the "Ills of modern man" with a lot of trigger and more modern style which was not necessary )

@amaranthinagony way more talented then both of those bands, the guitar parts are way more complex and creative, and Marc does everything by himself, and loops stuff while he is playing at the same time, and in order for th eloop to work, the drummer has to keep absolute perfect tempo the whole time, and the vocals are just unique and great, i love DI and a lot of ther metal bands, but veil of maya takes the cake.

Veil of Maya are definately one of my favorite metal bands at the moment, a perferct mixture of brutality and melody is amazing! Despised Icon are also IMMENSE! Brutality at it's finest!
