Great vintage track by the Knickerbockers!! This song seems to be rather underrated, and it is a great performance. Their sound here sort of reminds me of the 60's Righteous Brothers style, along with Phil Spectors "Wall Of Sound" signature...Friends, Lloyd.
@RobCoates1,,, It is hard to hear it done like this once you have heard Wynn Stewart do it..... I like the Knickerbockers but this isn't a favorite of mine.
Good morning, do you like sixties? Listen and pod cast my program " great sound of 60' s " on the site plumfm. Greeting and made blooper in rock and roll.
Salut, vous aimez les sixties ? Ecoutez et podcatez mon émission "le super son des sixties" sur plum fm. Salut et faites gaffe au rock'n roll.
Drummer Jimmy Walker is singing on this track. He's got a great new album called "PLAYING TO WIN" available for downloads on CD BABY. Soon on iTunes, Amazon etc. too.

Jimmy's voice sounds like a cross of Gary Puckett, Scott Walker ( walker brothers ) and Bill Bedley ... one heck of a compilation of talent !

this song would be great in a scene full of slow-motion violence =)

The guy singing replace Bill Medley in the Righteous Brothers in the late 60s when Bill went solo.
