This does nothing but show up the kid who struck out... oh yah... and make you look like a complete ass. We ahd a slow pitch ump who did a Chuck berry hop down the 1st base line on a strike out. Pretty funny until folks realized he was a really bad ump and would make bad strike calls just so he could entertain the crowd. Personally I thought it was embarrasing and uncalled for. Unfortunately, one of the players took offense and kicked the crap out of him in the parking lot.

@saxxon7273 I watched each pitch, about 5 times....They were all strikes...The kid was standing up in the box. It doesn't matter where the pitch is when it gets to the ump, just matters where it is when it crosses the plate. They were all strikes, the kid just didn't swing....at all.

No-where in my comments do I question whether or not the pitches were a ball or a strike. I take umbrage with the theatrics the umpire uses to call strike 3. In EVERY umpire clinic I have ever attended they emphasize that the best umpier is the umpier that no-one can recall after the game. In other words, do your job, do it with compitence and professionalism and then go home.
