One thing I don't think they really touched on is the shear diversity in Black Metal, it's one of the widest spanning sub-genres of metal, bands like Summoning, Aborym, Abyssic Hate, Blut Aus Nord, Samael, Limbonic Art, Abigor, Gehenna, Myrddraal, Melechesh, Drudkh etc all fall within the Umbrella of Black Metal yet are so vastly different from one another. Unlike Thrash or Death or Power metal where theres a widely accepted sound BM is much more open to experimentation and uniqueness.
