I know from experience that the correlation between the actions of the car and the Wii remote is so poor that this is almost certainly a fake. Nice idea though if you only have one free hand. Quite often I would like to drive the truck to the park whilst carrying the pit box in the other hand.

How can it be fake? You saw the engine in wheels reacting to the motiion of the Wii remote in the first part of the video? It looks quite real to me, not really practical but fun, amazing and cool. I would have probabaly used the joy pad instead of the accellorameters to control the car. That would make it less squirly. The Wii remote is really incredible.

good, i make the same, its possible and easy to make this. first have nintendo software (glovepie), second, litle software in visual basic or delphi which drive an electronic card, this card drive relays who are connected to the remote control of the car.

In some cases (like when it is connected to a pc with a Wii remote script not requiring it to turn the lights on), it won't illuminate. The Wii console actually has to give it a command to turn the light on. On the pc, you can write a script to turn certain lights on, like the 1st and 3rd at the same time.
