Actually, if you continued to study for medicine, and, let's say by the time your child is 3-4 you finish school, you get a pretty good pay as a doctor, it's a much better life for you, and most importantly, your child. You would have enough money for a good school, baby-sitter, and considering your a doctor, you can set your own hours so you can decide when to spend time with your child. Or, if you work in a hospital, since it's 2 days shifts, you work 2 days and have a baby sit

Add taking care of kids in the equation, that's another 20 give or take, so that's a 100-hour work week right there. If it's working for her, then why not?
