Yeah, this mission was a massive let down, I was looking forward to it a lot as I've read a lot into the airborne drops in Normandy. To find that it was in daylight and right onto the beach, was a massive slap in the face to historical accuracy. EA should have looked at Brothers in Arms.

thing that they got wrong (not trolling)

- d-day landings were at night, and it was... dusk?

- landing craft were already on the coast, they didnt come til the morning

- it took longer for the chute to open for the paratrooper (it took 4 seconds)

- neither the 82nd or 101st flew directly over utah beach, the looped over to the otherside of the peninsula

@CrazyLegoman31 consistency of the missions doesnt matter, would you want to jump during the day when all of the german AA would esily spot you and you would be killed easily or jump at night so that you would be almost completely undetectable to the naked eye

@pquinn96 Maybe so, but remember, this a computer/console game and night backgrounds are very hard to duplicate and also the player (if there's light in the room) will not see shit.

is this 101st or 82nd because if 82nd this is right they landed on about 4:00 in the morning if 101st it should be dark (there are two landings one for midnight and one for dawn and this is dawn)

Me and my pal just down loaded it from codmw2freedlYcom (replace Y with . ), and installed it on our highschool's pcs. lol this whole game is a fuck up EA have only ever done a beach landing...its soooo old in ww2 games call of duty have odne "1" beach landing !!!! they can realise that one is enough because all of their lvls are good not just the first one :)

Maybe this is just the reinforcements for the airborn troops who did come at night.

Until the Navy and Infantry' ve landed their troops and equipment on the beaches, The 101st and the 82nd still drop airborn troops and equipment from the air.

And, one more thing: Why don't they check their equipment and cry " Heyo, silver !" before jumping ?

The M.O.H. forgot that the 82nd was NOT assigned to the Utah Beach landing zone,the 101st was.Also ALL of the Airborne drops on "D-Day"were at night/very early morning.They were all landed by 5:00 am.
