As a Canadian who lived in Texas and I can say that I know quite a few people whi have said Dub'Ya was one of the best US Presidents in the last 50 years

Texas is not a state it's a country that is on another planet. The rest of the country just does not "get them."

GW was a disaster for America and we will be living with his Cheny administrations for years to come. George had the right looks, the right pedigree, and the right swagger to be sold to the public. None of us will ever believe that he stood up to Cheney who was a mad hawk. Only right at the end did Bush refuse something the Chesey wanted. A pardon for Libby. Note GW silence now.

I for one would like to see Texas do what Rick Perry insinuated that they should do and that was become an independent country again. It truly is NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN.

In London there is a plaque on a building that says it is the embassy of the Republic of Texas. It should have stayed that way. They have a whole different way of looking at the world.

I don't see any boarder crisis. Who invited Europeans to come in the first place. Throughout history populations have moved around the planet for some reason or another. All the worry about Mexicans coming is nuts. How fair is it that any Cuban reaching America is home free but any other Spanish speaking person is illegal. As long as they get jobs then they will continue to come.
