yh it is pritty much but when u replace a few bits and bobs its just as good if not better because the chassis is lighter it has better acceleration along with other stuff
hey man you seem like a nice guy so i need your help. i have the same truck but the stupid thing wont start, im only 15 and inexperienced with these truck and my local hobby shop is too stupid to even help me start is. so what do you recommend doing? buy a new engine?
i havnt realy spent much money on it alot of the modss ive made from old spares and bits of sheet metal i have, the main hop up is the engine its a schumacher x 18 engine i changed the gear ratio to 15 teath on 70 teath and put in futaba high tourqe sevos, ive cut out an aloy skid plate to protect the sevo and made aloy cetre and front skid plates im gona make a new vid to show all this chears for the comments, ur truck is pritty awsome too.

this is basicaly a t-maxx chassis but cheaper stuff on it (servos and a smaller cheaper engine)
but hey!
this is defiantly cheap and cheer full!

oh yh forgot to mention i made a metal cvd for the rear output of the gear box cuz the plastic one couldnt handle the power.
