First... drain the old useless fluids (gas & oil) & replace with new quantities of the specified types... replacing the fuel filter and oil filter now would be wise as well. Spend $20 on a new battery and intall that as well. While doing this, it would be smart to pull the spark plug... if nothing else, clean and re-gap it, or if you have the $7 to part with, replace it with a new (properly gapped) plug. Once finished, calmly sit down and start as normal. Shouldn't take more then 20 mins.
For you idiots making idiot comments about how he's gonna flood the engine or how he should yank and soak the carb, he can't flood the engine nor can he yank the carb. The Yamaha Vino is fuel injected. Also, if this is a 50cc Vino it's liquid cooled, not air cooled. The 125cc is air cooled.
one of the bigger idiots i've ever seen on here and that's saying something. when you have ANY VEHICLE that has been sitting for a period of time, like this vino...and it won't start in 5 or less kicks, check for spark and fuel. it is almost ALWAYS FUEL or lack of it. or in the case of this asshole, might have been the kill switch on right side handlebar control was off. LOL LOL LOL
I laughed my ass off....this guy answers the phone, engages in conversations about porno and every dumb fucking Jethro comes over to see what all the 'ruckus' is 'bout! haha awesome video!
Man i have the same scooter. its sat for about 2 years and WILL NOT start either. It was my father in laws. The battery is dead, and im not sure how to start a scooter lol. Do i need to have the electric start switch (not the button) down or up? Do i turn twist the gas when i crack or leave it alone..
When starting a scooter that's been not run for more than a month do this:With the ignition off kick the peddal about 5-10 times so gas can reach the carb and then put the ignition to on and kickstart. What you deed here is flooding the carb .
you are not looking good in this vid

where is your compression left in the storage....xD

everytime you kick it fuel is being injected into the cylinder
so every fail of a start throws fuel into the cylinder that is awaiting a spark which it isnt getting.
so when it does start (unlikely because you just flooded the whole engine)
you will get a big almighty backfire of unburnt fuel

I put gas stabalizer in mine when it sits that long. They can be a pain in the butt to start if they sit.
