@retrosound72 I looked before on ebay but I didn't find anything that's fully working. I found a Juno 106, but the hpf pot slider didn't work so I didn't buy it.
Brilliant!!!! I am thinking about a set of Tauras pedals, where can I get them, and can you have a straight bass sound on them or is it always kind of synthy???
@retrosound72 Well, i know is almost impossible to emulate this analog sound with a digital synth, but I heard that JUNO G has been designed as "Modern Version" of 106, then i supossed that it has the capacity of reproduce (or emulate) those sonds..actually I though it has a lot of presets (internal bank) originally made with the 106, so..
I know most of your synths are Vintage an analog, but I don't have too much money to have separate sequencers or drum machines so for complete my equipment I bought a Roland Fantom X6, to be the partner of my ESQ-1, JX-10, EMU-EMAX II, POLY-800, CZ-1000.
What do you think about Fantom X6, have you ever tried it? maybe a "light" synth for you, I know...but, It would be interesting to know you opinion on that..Thanks again!
@retrosound72 so... I though it would be great to have a classic synth but with the capacity of a workstation, I mean a decent sequencer, a display to see parameters, even sampling capacities, and sound programing "similiar' than the original, but your opinion always will be very important ...thank you
Where can I get my hands on a good used Taurus 1? I don't have the cash for brand new! Like most, I'm a starving musician, but I need to add this to my gear desperately.
At begining it sounds like "Information Society's" (Repetition)..
Great keyboards!!!.I'm now looking for a workstation, I have a Roland JD800 & a ENSONIQ ESQ-1, but don't have sequencer's and drum machines anymore would you recomend something?
Can you tell me where I can get a TR-707?

Very nice!, Very soft rythm, wonderful strings...and a great syth!,
It reminds me a little bit "Repetition" from "Information Society".
I want a JUNO but I'm not sure to buy the JUNO G, or get the vintage 106.

When you need these analog sound buy a JU-106, when you need a sample rom synth buy a Juno G

The sound is very different, only the name Juno is the same. This is marketing ;)
The JunoG is a nice synth but not compared to the real analog Ju-106.

@retrosound72 Thank you so much!, I got it...

@ANDRES77 I forgat mention my JD-800...my favorite

@ANDRES77
with the JX-10 you have a classic analog synth with a very good sound and the ESQ is also fantastic. When you have the JX-10 you don`t need a Ju-106.
The Fantom X6 is very good.

@retrosound72 I forgot mention my JD-800...my favorite,
Thank you very much for your response, I will take seriously your advice. I hope to get a little bit more time to upload something soon...

Question: anyone interested in a Moog Taurus Mk.1? If so, give me a mail.
anonymusum 3 years ago
has the moog taurus midi input? or is it controlled by cv?
how did you connect and allowed it to accept only the lowest octave?
jamesvla 3 years ago
