@Asken96 ok. thnx! it will look breth-taking on the game board! i have all my custom tyranid vegitation and custom dead tau and space marine bodies made out of spare parts! it will look awesome after i magnetise it! i can stop thinking about it! lololololololololololololololololololololololololol xD roflmmfaoshtmbfoalimehdcp (rolling on floor laughing my mother f****** ass of so hard that my bindi falls of and lands in my expensive hot delisious curry puff) lol xD
very nice man, for the base i recommend just covering the whole top with glue then dipping it ur rocks, when its dry u just mix the glue (i use wood glue) with sum water and paint over the rocks, this way they dont fall of
@Likovetz Well this video was posted almost 2 months ago so. I don't need anymore help painting or anything. I will be starting on my golden demon entry in bout 3 months. As far as playing goes played simple 1000pts games did well.
@friedmushroom What i do is glue the legs to the base and torse to the legs. And paint rest seperate. I find it easier to do and u get more detail. For basing, I'm not doing them until im bored because trying to get as many guys done so I can play bigger games
I finished all of the 15 marines about a week ago buti decided they could be better so i'm spending about another 2 hours on each model realising i could of done alot more highlighting. thank for the comment! i have a new video up
I myself have only started collecting warhammer 40000 figures etc, so I cant give advice on how to improve your work, but I will say they are really good, considering they are your first, I have just started painting my plague marines, and I hope they look as good as those. keep it up.
thanks for the comments and belated christmas and new years. i'll be posting an update in the next couple days also need some questions answer. thank you!
That went wrong? Clearly looks like prepped and primed pieces to me. What happened was I went into the local store they were sold of battle forces for chaos so he offered me a defiler for 40$ instead of 65$ so I said sure. I prepped and primed his legs took 2 hours. Game workshop being fast on delivery took 2 days to get the b force so I stopped working on the defiler and started those 4 marines. Why is it hard to believe I've only been painting for less then a week?
Hmmm. What I've been doing (saw this in other videos) is glue'ing the sand then inking it devlan mud then dry brushing its just the sand around the edges of the base that always unglues when its rub and stuff. I wonder if I should use a varnish on these guys or not. But overall im satisfied for being a rookie I've seen other new ppl's work and well I like making what I paid alot for worth it. Perfectionist at heart.
To fix the bases first use your white elmers glue to glue them down like normal and let that dry. After it dries take the same white glue and water it down quite a bit (to about the consistency of the GW washes) and then paint it on over the basing sand. Finally spray paint and drybrush it and it shouldn't be going anywhere.
The paint jobs themselves though are amazing. Great work and well beyond the efforts of most first timers.
Well I am very good at drawing,, painting in general in art class. But I only painted those 4 guys and my buddies orc as far as painting warhammers go. I got my b force on sunday i prep'ed like 5 guys on sunday then started monday. And it's now wednesday so yea 3 days.
Really good to be a beginner. Have you painted before
