Hi, After I save the terrain with a grassy/rocky texture over it to make it look like a landscape whenever I open the file up again the whole terrain is jet black, I do it over again but the same keeps happening, do you know why?
@GypsyCommunity Not sure. The texture might not be getting saved perhaps. Try to pack it into the blend file, and make sure Texture View is always enabled.
hey is there a way i can texture a the whole floor with the same texture?? i mean like doing it automatic, with out me applying it, or do i have to apply it bit by bit. also would like to turn the texture -90 so it don't look like it has just been copied and pasted all over. if that make any sence ?
@urouk That I don't know about I'm afraid. Maybe with a script. Or by using an automated perlin noise system. I only know to apply the texture manually. Usually by using nodes to multi-texture (should make a tutorial about that too sometime).
@xRossHD In this case, I just applied a grass texture from another game on the mesh. The game I have now however uses many multi-layered textures. Which perhaps I should make a tutorial about too sometime...
