  • 1. It's not blasphemous to wear hijab if your not Muslim, where'd you get that from? 2. If you don't want to wear earrings then don't! And if people watch Amenas videos because she's beautiful that's their problem! So Amena can't encourage or help anyone else cos she's too beautiful to be seen? Wearing earrings is something a new hijabi misses, she's just showing how to wear earrings With the hijab, not instead of.

  • thank you that was great even thouhg t i wont use it to show my earings i will use it for something else you did mention in your video inshallah 1 day

  • oh my so pretty. Thanks xxxx

  • This Hoojab looks very sporty and pretty at the same time! It's also in my favorite color! I'd need help to wrap this, because I don't have enough range of motion in my arms and shoulders. Looks like I'll have to draft my husband!

  • @Amenakin I was wondering what your face shape was? As not all styles suit some face shapes.. Thank you :)

  • @dananasereddin shes not showing her ears.

  • Wow!! Nice way to wear earrings with Hijab....

  • I wear a stethoscope =) you're a life-saver!

  • Can u please make a video on how u do ur hair inside the hijab to make it look high updo... Please u can demonstrate in sumone else a small girl or sooo... Please please

  • I have side burns so I cannot wear it like this...though I'd love to cause I love earrings....now started wearing the hijab, what are I gonna do with my earrings :(

  • @sajibaby1 What you do is just do a normal loose hijaab style covering your ears and whatever, then when your finished, hook on your earings to your under scarf, near where your ears would be :), saves you from a ear ache aswell x

  • I really don't get it much

  • hi! that's really pretty and quick to do! thanks, im a great fan of your videos! :)))

  • Hello amena .. ur videos are really helpful .. since i have no idea about the stuff you get to cover .. so please would you tell me exactly whats the inner full hand top you wear and then the normal dress ..whats the exact name?? .. hope u ll help since i hav no knwledge about this kind of dressing ..

  • you inspire me....

  • Sister well job. Hope so all the womens will wear Hijab. its so nice

  • Masha allah beautiful hijab where did you buy?

  • mashallah you look beautiful thanks for your videos :)

  • ma chaee llahh..

  • Lol, I've seen a few other tutorials where you said sliders and I was so confused! Then you said a bobby pin, the lightbulb went off in my head! Yeah, I'm a dweeb...

  • nice i love hoojab

  • Asalamalaikum w w sister! hey i've been enjoying ur videos 4 about a year now! such an inspiration to other young sisters that want to wear hijab. plus ur so cute and remind me of my couzin - both beautiful mashalla. btw i heard doing ur eyebrows is haram in islam, is that tru? thnx byexx

  • Lol ur from england like me

:) Mashallah very good accent not many asian people can get a good accent like yours! Lol

  • @dananasereddin u r right about our ears cant show, but it is just the bottom part and its barely showing. therefore it is okay.. so if u want to wear a hijab and wear earrings u can.

  • @hadeelmahoud13 ears are ears......even the bottom part sis!

  • @emonslemons Excuse me , Are you Allah or a kind of advocate of Allah to go around telling people how to live their Deen? I bet you're a man right?

  • @emonslemons The man who gets bad thoughts from a woman ears or earrings is a frustrated freak. Is it better to quit the veil for a party or to wear it in a stylish way? If you watch this girls videos you wil see she was making even non muslim girls want to wear veil, she is doing a good thing.

  • @TheDreamingButton Very true i am non muslim and I am thinking of starting wearing the veil

  • @TheDreamingButton

    Agreed completely.

  • @TheDreamingButton Lmao, 'frustrated freak' haha.

  • my god what a beautiful sister, and the way she speaks u can tell she has good education, i bet she looks prettier with the hijab then without

  • Salam, I've been wearing the hijab for quite a while and I love watching your videos but I have just one question. The purpose of the hijab is to hide our natural beauty from strangers but by wearing long dangling earrings doesn't that defeat the purpose since they obviously attract attention and make us look more attractive?

    Jazakallah

  • I love this one thanks sis!!

  • @danasereddin She covered her ears, just showed her earrings. I don't know if that's plausible but I think it may be.

  • @dananasereddin well, if you are a doctor or a nurse, you have to be able to get your stethoscope in your ears. somehow, i think god will understand.

  • this had helped so much

    thank you

  • this had helped me so much

    THANK YOU!!

  • salam sis. Thank you for your vdo's they are all great to watch and i'm learning alot :) May I add you are a beautiful girl too :) Well done sister. May Allah reward you :)

  • @sairapatel

I'm sorry The link isn't in the description box! can't link it, Google pearl daisy and it'l come up x

  • @sairapatel

its from pearl daisy, link in the description box :)

  • wow...thanks a lot! u are helping me so much!

  • @Amenakin can u plz tell from which country do u belong?

  • where did you get your hijab from

  • i love your hijab style

  • salam alaikum wa rahmatullah amena!

masha'Allah.. i liked to watch ur videos.. this one makes me ask u, is this hijab?? i mean we all showin off our nice pretty earrings.. is it serving the purpose of hijab? hijab's actual meanin..? it is to ward off attention,, n aren't we attracting others when we wear this style?

jazak Allah khair.. n may Allah guide us all towards the right path.. ameen!

  • heyy amena where'd you get ur beaded headbands from <3

  • like this look but i would omit the headband. thanks :)

  • I saw some videos in which you answer to questions and it seems that we cab ask questions not in english.

Is it possible to write you somme questions in french?

    Thanks.

  • Good videos sis, many very useful, would just remind you to try and cover the chest as much as possible when you tie the hijab, and in regards to this video, as muslims we are not allowed to show our ears or wear earrings as they are tabbaruj (attract attention)

  • I like this one! I may try it on the next wedding isA ;)

  • Wow, too pretty :D Never saw such style :D love it :) 4 sure will try it

    Greetings

  • I also say you the princes of islam

  • u was superduper good :)))

  • Great Amena! but from where can we get that kink of hoojab please?

  • asalam aleikum I from spain your videos are very nice. more kisses

  • Well, that was easy. Beautiful, masha Allah.

  • @ansariahs

Actually sister just to clarify the matter of ears showing isn't an issue that falls Under "different opinions" or "interpretations", earrings fall under "adornment" they make you look better just as makeup does leading both to fall under the "impermissible in front of non mahrams category"......rules are rules, but I'm not here to judge,Only Allah swt knows what's in our hearts.. I just wanted to clarify the matter. Eid mubarak to everyone :)

  • @dananasereddin Yep, I was about to ask how is this hijaab when you can see the ears? I like all the styles and stuff but we're missing the essence of hijab - not to attract attention and yet contrary to the teachings of islam all these vids are all about how to glam it up! Astagfirullah. Allah knows best.

  • I agreed with reemzie907comments

  • Always looking beautiful.best styler for hijaab .

  • Salam,i cant actually do this style...after i switch over the sides and fold it around it looks wrong, infact it is wrong :/

  • what is the main purpose of wearing a hijab my dear?

  • u look so gorgeous!!! i thought that wearing hijab means forgetting about your favorite earrings... mind if i ask...a hijab can simply be bought in the shops? is it something that needs rituals or blessings before it is worn? keep posting your pretty styles!

  • @det101569 nothing like a scarf needing blessings or rituals. you got the wrong idea

  • this is not hijaab im sorry

but we are not allowed to show our ears

  • Omg I loove this videoo! I've been wearing hijab for quite a while now but I always take the simple route. I am definitely going to try this for a wedding I've got coming up and will try draping my dupatta into a hijab as well! Thanks so muchh :D

  • somehow u look a little bit like nina dobrev, imo.especially ur eyes. :D bt u're very preety and ur tutorials are really helpful.do u live in england?i like ur acent. ;)

  • asalamu-alaikum!! I just tried this and i love it!! It is my favorite hijaab style. Thank you so much for teaching me this!!

  • Hi I'm from Singapore. Just wondering, the shawl that u use, must I get the extra long kind? because its long enough to wrap around our head twice. The ones I have can only wrap once, and it will come short from the side. And must the material be very thin? because pashmina here in Singapore are usually not so thin but soft.

  • U look like a princes from Star Wars

    nice tutorial

  • salaam... sorry to ask, was it ok to show our ears? i thought it was a part from aurah..

  • @pen41291 Assalaamuwalayum! :) It depends on what opinion you follow.

  • Hi Amena, I've known u from about ten days ago u r amazing. I had ideas but I didn't know the techniques. ur magical touches helps to have better look thnxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx how can we be in touch with ur new videos? and where in UAE can find maxi cotton Hojoobs?

  • @memi32011 Hi Memi :o) To be in touch, just "subscribe" to this channel by clicking on "subscribe". You will then be notified (if your settings on YouTube are set to email notifications) when I upload new videos. Hope that helps. I made up the 'Hoojab' so they're not available anywhere except at the Pearl Daisy online store!

  • @Amenakin salam! sister i dont mean to be nasty or anything but how do you know you are conveying the right message coz i just saw someone write about your beauty saying they only watched the video not because they wanted to wear a scarf and learn how to tie it but because they wanted to just look at you because you are beautiful.

  • @muslimah134 well, she's trying to help other muslim women learn new ways to wear their veils. it isn't her fault was someone else does.

  • @memi32011 i live in Abudhabi and u can get ur hijabs from madinat zayed, or center splash. cheap and great quality ;D and A LOT of different kinds of hijabs

    tc

  • @memi32011 u can simply subscribe to Amena or become a Friend on youtube to receive her vids i know its a late reply but i jut have to answer when someone asks

  • Could u do a video where u can slide on glasses/ sunglasses please x

  • you look gorgeous girl!

    mashallah oegti fi llah

may allah bless you for your inspiration:)

i have two left hands:) soo thanks a lot!!

    greets from netherlands

  • you r so beautilful with hijab ..may allah bless you

  • Thanks for this video..I really needed a tutorial because this is my favourite hijab style.

I just recently started hijab....great vid!

  • Salaam, sister. I really need your help! I tried EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING! I want to wear my hijab with earrings, but the underscarf always slides up whenever I turn my head. Tube underscarves, string caps. I even wore turbans with my hijab over them, but they are so uncomfy. Any time I move my head, the underscarf slides up. I ordered a maxi hoojab, but I'm scared if it won't cover me properly. I don't like tying from the back.

How can I tie it from the front? No underscarf!

  • I found this hijab suuuper! I really loved it!

    Simple but veeery beautiful.

To be honest I don't like kind of hijab that gets much attention. And this one is perfect because it is pretty and not very flashy!

    Congratulations from BRAZIL!

  • Ameena...just to say how great you are...I love you videos and you are truly one who has good favours (SWT) with Allah. And toodle doo at the end, that was just soooooo sweet. Louise, UK

  • الحمدالله

  • sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet of you dear

  • GREAT!!! That's a very nice and elegant way of wearing hijab. I really admire you women who wear this also in summer when it's so warm outside. :-) I saw some more hijab videos and I really did not expect that there are so many beautiful ways of wearing it. :-) Thumbs up.

  • U are sweeet

  • Sory about my eanglish. But what tipe of hoojab u need for this nice style?

  • Ma salaams,

I just finishing purchasing several hoojab from your website and few more bits and bob. I found it difficult to tried my hijab with a regular pashmina scarf. I was looking for this colour hoojab and it was not on the website. The one displayed was a forest green colour which is a little too bright for me.

    Has this colour been discontinued?

  • WOW! You are really beautiful~Brightest Blessings of Love & Light to you~

  • Hijab may be good looking, but when you are obligated to wear it otherwise you will be whipped or something, you would think otherwise. No necessarily hard feelings toward muslims though.

But in many cases women are forced to cover their body, which is unacceptable.Understand it the way you like.

  • @belalangz Thank you :)

  • Salam..for Muslim hijab only their face is allow to show it not the ears or neck and one thing have to remember hijab must be cover from head till the shoulder and the chest as well becoz it is aurat in Islam..Wallahua'lam

  • Hi everyone, I am traveling to UAE. Would it be disrespectful for me to wear a Hijab, if it is not my religion?

  • @Rasvera nope,in fact lots of people especially muslim will be pleased :)

  • @Rasvera no, lol who one will be mad that you are dressed Modest. Muslims aren't they only women who wear head scarfs, if asked just simply say you're not muslim

  • I love how you have address stethoscope friendly style! :)

  • I don't wear head scarves or hijabs, but I like watching tutorials for all the many many different ways of wearing them. Very beautiful, very elegant, yet modest.

  • u sounded like you were in a hurri lol anyways mashallah i luv this look im defo gunna try it. thnx

    x

  • I like this look!

  • Love the way you wear your hijab. Really creative like me ;p love it to see other ways to wear hijab. Keep it going dear sis xxx

  • totslly luv dis style.. thanku soo much for sharing!!

  • so you just left the left side to dangle, no pin?

  • "Hair slide" is definitely going into my vocabulary.

  • thanqz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!its helpful...........

  • mashallaa ur so beautiful <3

  • I love u. Ur soo modest. Thats how a real women should b. Mashaalah

  • Salam sister. I do not think that it is correct to show your ears and hairline. You can make a video where you wear the hijab but still have earrings on (I have seen it on some sisters, they put the earrings TROUGH the hjab and therefore cover themselves correctly). Thanks for your videos they are inspiring, masha'Allah. :)

  • wow how do you match so good

  • wow, that was fast!!!!!!! you did a great job. I'll try it tomorrow but will try to hide the ears a bit more and also put down the hijab to cover my chest. wish me luck

  • wow..that was fast!!!!! and u did a great job and im trying it tomorrow but i prefer hiding the ears so will figure a way wear ears are hiden but showing the earings. and also pull the hijab a bit lower to cover my chest. wish me luck.

  • sweet and beautiful :)

  • assalamu aleikum sister... I love this one, as I love all the other Hijab that you put in other tutorials... but I wanna know how you could find a so long headscarf :(:( i wanna try this style, but my scarf are all shorter... i think they're half of it...

  • How long is this scarf ??? In my town i can not buy one, just somebody have done for me but i want to know the measure ... could you plz tell me, i'll apreciate it

  • @Amenakin. asalamualaykum i have just recently started watching your videos and i also have been wearing the hijaab for quite some time now i just wanted to ask you if was the scarf doubled.

  • Really nice style. I am sure that I will use your tips. Greeting from Poland;)

  • HIjabs to me actually make woman more elegant. Women with Hijab's tend to take care of their skin more, rather then their hair and their skin is always simply glowing :D

  • Amena I got a very fat face :( is there a way t do this style without taking the ends to the back? because it makes my face look bigger :/

  • youtube.com/watch?v=L_KrmkNfJmI&feature=relmfu

I am sharing this video with all sisters, hope you get benefit from it as much as i did.

    Selemau eleykum

  • Thank you so much for your helpful tutorials. As a relatively new hijab wearer, I have just one style and am looking for new ones. Al your tutorials are inspiring. And I have to say this is one of my favorites as it makes it so easy to deal with my stethoscope now. =) Thank you. JAK

  • a point to consider is that your ears and side of your face should be covered as part of hijab- so according to some mathhabs the style you showd in this video isnt hijab.

  • (continued!) Main stream Mormons do not practice covering the hair, we have other practices of outer and inner modesty. I think Islam is so beautiful, the same way I think the Mormon faith is beautiful. I wish I could have spent more time with my Muslim roots. Anyway---LONG comment short, lately I have felt something very touching inside me when I ponder the hejab. Here is the question (finally): Would it be blasphemous to experiment wearing hejab when I am not Muslim?

  • @jeshide

Oh sweetie! I don't think so at all!!! If you look around youtube you will find so many non-muslim girls who wear the hijab! Yes it is a symbol of Islam and of faith but it is also a symbol of modesty and if you want to wear it go right ahead! Trust me Muslim girls around the world will happily welcome you to our club!!! All th best hon, whatever you choose!!! ^-^

  • @jeshide

  • @jeshide there is nothing blasphemous about wearing a hijab if you are not muslim... i think its a sign of beauty for muslims and non muslims who wear it too (and yes i have seen some non muslims wear it)

  • @jeshide

Really can't see why it should be blasphemous - I love seeing the hijab on women, it looks elegant, modest and beautiful and it shouldn't just be for Muslim women, anyone should be able to wear it if they want to, especially if like yourself they are feeling a desire to. :-)

  • @jeshide hey :) i know this question was directed to amena but i'm Muslim and personally i think (and i'm sure many others will agree with me) that there's nothing blasphemous about it. some non-Muslims also wear hijab (youtube it!!) and i'd say if anything, it's nice to see people from other faiths wear a headscarf. if you really want to, you should go for it!! :) peace be upon you and your family. :)

  • @jeshide It's not blasphemous at all, in fact it's great to see people from other faiths trying out the Hijab :)

  • I hope you get this... I have been watching some of your videos and I love them, thank you. I am a Mormon. My Father, when he was in our lives, is Lebanese and Muslim. I grew up half of the time in a Muslim household... the music, the tea, the food and of course, the hejab. But like I said, I am a Mormon. In one of your other videos you quoted someone saying that all three of the Abramhamic religions required women to cover their hair, which is true. (to be continued on other post!)

  • what are those scarfs called as? where can i get it? any 1 help please! ?

  • i love your tutorials

btw you kind of look like nina dobrov

  • niiice i love your tutorials (^^)

    Love from UAE

  • Hello. I just wanted to comment that u look very beautiful, especially ur smile. Another thing is that hijab should be more loose, which s one of the conditions for hijab.

    Gud luck

  • thankz sis!! finally...i can use my earrings!!

  • i love your style, mashaAllah :)

  • Salaam sis, this might be an akward question. But I've noticed that you wear lovely polo (neck + long sleeved) jumpers ... Where do you buy them from, if you don't mind me asking?! I can't seem to find them any where ever I go shopping!

I love your videos btw ^_^. Alhumdulillah x

  • did you pin the hijab to your hair or just the hijab?

  • Awesome!!^_^

  • Hi Amena 1St of all you are very beautiful mashallah. I watch a lot of your video and I love all your style. I wanted to asked you I have one of my cousin who loves hijab always says to me that she wanted to start wearing hijab but not now one day.. what advise can you give to inspire her so that she get more confident that Hijab is important? I dont want to force but if i can help her it will be great. The reason she would give be is that bcz she work with white people and scared of loosing job

  • its hijab not hoojab :) but beuutttyyyyfull

  • @aqsamalik123 she calls it hoojab.check her website to find out more

  • Very pretty!!! I'll share with my med school Muslimah friends :)

  • FANTASTIC sista !!

  • I love this one...its my favorite color...hehehe and pearls are my birthstone... :P

  • sometimes I wish I could wear a scarf to cover my hair on bad hair days! lol

  • @tj47moeller of course you can always snail-curl (I think that is the word) your hair 2/3 of the way back, leave the rest long and wear a bandana :P But don't forget to pin the bandana down, those things don't really stay on snail-curls by themselves. I do this if I need to go to a costume party (+wig) after school and don't have the time to snail-curl it all between school and the party. And this way I've also hidden colored hair spray if I was out too late to wash it out.

  • Amena, I have seen a lot of your videos and I just love em all; but I must say this one hijab style is my favorite!

Also, I think you're amzing and that what you're doing is wonderful. I come to youtube looking forwards to your videos. May Allah (SWT) bless you and your family! Amen ya Rabb!!!!

  • Mashallah,! Loovee This Style!, I always wanted to know how to do it !

    Thanks ;-)

  • thank you! I been looking for this style which i can use my earring thank you! sister

  • thank you sister. I used to hate earings and necklaces because you couldnt show it off without covering the neck, but now i am starting to wear them thank you soooo much and manshallah for all you are doing.

  • love the style and it covers well!

  • Salaam sis. Is that a maxi hoojab O_O? btw.. absolutely ADORE your tutorials (: I've even been recommending it to people! heehee!
