Literalists deny biblical scholarship because it does not fit their cherished delusions.The history of Christianity is fascinating; much more interesting than endless Bible quotes. Knowledge of the actual history of derivative-Jewish-theology does not preclude belief. It does, however, preclude believing the myth that the Bible is the Inspired Word of God. Go away and educate yourself!

Yes, "word" is normally written in lowercase. So is "inspired".
