Its been 18 years and this show is still just as great and exciting as ever. ABC or even PBS should pick this up and bring it back, like TheGraveKeeper2 said, maby even show Sonics roots and how Robotnik took over mobius. They did it for Star Trek with Star Trek Enterprise and it worked there so why not for Sonic? Sonic was WAY PAST COOL!

If you followed the Sonic archie comics path about how Robotnik became Eggman and then started watching Sonic X, it is plausible that this is what went on in X, in Sonic's world before he and his friends came to the human world. And it makes a lot of sense considering the Power Rings and planet Mobius are present in both shows. The only thign that wouldn't quite add up is why Sonic and friends never talk about Sally or Knothole or Roboticization

this was the best series hands down, the new one sucks. This one had a bunch of meanings in it which makes it artistic and clever.
