MW3 Q & A - The Trophy System Tutorial

I want to know if you can capture flags with it. I've had two predator missiles destroyed from a trophy system. At first i thought someone shot it down.

it seems kinda pointless to me.you can destroy the IMS and other stuff so why you need this tactical?i think just for exp or fun you can use this device but the best tactical is the EMP grenade

Did Activision buff the trophy system I joined 10 different lobbies today and I notice that there would be a camper crouching and using a type 95 with a trophy system and when I shot at them my bullets where unable to hit the camper. Or people just doing some glitch or hacking the game?

They're not missles from the AC130 dude, the AC130 fires 105/25MM BOFORS/20MM or 7.62 Chain...that's it...

while using overkill, does the proficiency on the first gun also work on the second gun?

if so, you can use the damage on the shotgun for a sniper! or a quick way to get range on a shotgun!

it might be a silly question, but do you need to be near it for it to work. in your vid you were right next to it and it protected you from the predator missile. what if you were nowhere near it, would it still destroy the missile once it entered the airspace, or does it only work with you near it?

@woody280486 you have to be near it for it to protect YOU...because its the trophy thats blocking the explosives etc... A predator is obviously going to go for the red squares so if a preds coming for you put one down...but obviously it still works if your not near it...it will still block everything but it wont protect you. It just protects the area around it...its mainly for stuff like say your capturing a flag all you get is stuns and semtex flying over towards you..

This is actually modeled after a system that is used by the Israeli Army on tanks... It can deflect an RPG.
