  • press 3 to hear a horn :p

  • Thanks for the lesson Marty! I have cover now please check it on my channel.

  • thumbs up if you saw marty's fingers more than himself

  • thx man :)

  • marty is sick

  • The lick is : 2h3 4 0 on the D String

  • what the is that lick!

  • thanks man

  • Sweet

  • My B string doesnt sound like that :S

  • Please check out my cover of this song here, it's a guitar-only version and please subscribe!

    /watch?v=e6WIA8fJJLw&feature=relmfu

  • All your guitar tutorial vids I've seen so far are great. Keep up the good work!

  • The lick

    Strin G: 2---3 String B: 0

  • @davidbest11 thanks so much!!

  • Fuck Youtube

  • HA! Dude open your eyes!! You look so baked!!

  • thx bro... this was nice....

    peace and love bro

  • Thx buddy,

    Tom UK

  • Thank you're great teaching how to play it.

  • I like your tutorial but am having a hard time with the chorus. Is there a way to show a diagram of fingering for the chords, or a tab. I have to keep playing the vid over and over trying to get it right. If I had a chord tab to look at as well it might make it easier. Then again, it's not a difficult song, so maybe it's just my AADD Kickin' in.

  • THank U !!!!!

  • To those who don't understand the lick.

It's 2. fret g. string. Then slide to 3. fret. Then open b-string.

Thumbs up if y'all wanna learn.

  • @Clayfix Or you could hammer on 3 from 2 and slide to 4 afterwards. It sounds smoother to me :)

  • Your awesome dude. :D

  • oh... poor me! i'm italian and i don't understand all you say.... i know i ask a lot but could you put some subtitles or... i dont' know...the most important advices....

  • great vid! watch my sister singing imagine! please comment! watch?v=Mo0TLJ3VO1o

  • Cool

  • A beautiful song which make's you wonder with the question "WHAT IF" ... Thenk you my friend... regards from Bulgaria :)

  • hey Marty, what do you do between the C and F chord. i can hear a little extra thing that you dont go through on the video. it sounds really good, but i can't get it

  • i liove this song!!

  • Very helpful vids for those of us that are beginners

  • your a legend you av so much stuff!!

  • Hm, I think your lick is for peple who don't play the complete "F" chord barré with the finger across the first fret but the fake chord "f" with the finger across the last b and high e string. If I use your way of the lick it's harder for me cause I use the complete "F" chord barré. But okay...everybody's got his own techniques.

  • your r fantastic!!! Thank you soooo much!! :)

  • What tuning is this??

  • @LolxEmily

normal tuning i just played it and it sounds fine although u probs could change it and it would sound good :)

  • @LolxEmily Standard tuning : )

  • Dude, can I just say that I love you? I figured this song was not able to be played with guitar, and so I looked it up, and then I saw you and I was like, "Of course!!" :)

    Thanks so much!!!

  • Kill racism

There are no borders only 1 world :)

  • i like this on acoustic! thanks marty!~

  • thank you friend

  • This is made for piano, but if you play it on guitar, at least play it on electric, cuz this sounds really bad on accoustic :S

  • been taking lessons for 6 wks now and this is the latest song the instructor has given me to learn. totally different chords, i don't even recognize the song...but i hear it here. i love this, you are aMaYZiNg ~ love this! been practicing here for 2 hrs now. thanks Marty !

alot of guitar players wouldnt do this at all!...head in the clouds etc...

    Thank you marty ...lovely man.

  • Dude, You got a nice G-string

  • thanks you friend!!!!!!!! Russian.

    Спасибо друг!!! Привет из России!!!

  • Hey! Ive been watchin for as long as I can remember! Great work and thanks for the help!

  • thanks!!!

  • 21 persons can't imagine !!

  • dude u rock bigtime, not talking about this video but in general, great teacher and a hell of a guitar player, rock on

  • I dont understand the leak either... could you please specify.. Yours is the nicest version btw and yes I agree you are a good teacher. Thank you!!

  • Happy New Year Marty! Thamks for continuing to support our cause!

  • i dont understand the 'lick'

  • @Suupeerluzie The lick is individual notes A A# B. Most everyone hammers on the A#, but you can play the notes individually, as JL did on piano. Then back to Cmaj.

  • @Suupeerluzie It's actually really easy once you get it :) Leave your middle finger where it was on the F chord - second fret, G string (or 3rd string, starting from the thinnest one) and pluck this string alone. Then, put your ring finger next to your middle - again G string, but this time third fret. Pluck the G string one more time, then pluck the open B string (2nd, starting from thinnest), and that's about it :)

  • @two20girl with your ring finger its a hammer on. you dont pluck it again

  • @Suupeerluzie for the lick....with your middle finger on the G string 2nd fret (it will be there because you are playing the F chord at that time, then yuo hammer on with your ring finger on the G string 3rd fret.

look up a hammer on if you dont know what it is(so you dont pluck this string)

then pluck the open B string

  • @Suupeerluzie You do an F chord and you play 2nd fret of third string with your middle finger, then you play the second string open and then you play the first fret of the second string, Hope you understand : )

  • Comment removed

  • @Suupeerluzie

How can't you understand this ?

G string 2 and 3 fret and then open B string

  • @Suupeerluzie i just played it 3rd string 2nd fret hammer on the 3rd fret then open 2nd string, sorry if that's unclear try it out!

  • @Suupeerluzie You play the second and third fret on the third string, and then play the second air

  • marty! you are the best!

  • I don't even play guitar, but I love hearing these. THANK YOU

  • Figured it would be appropriate to give this one a go today. Good work Marty!

  • wow

  • Oh my God! Thank You Very much:)

  • broken english for the win.

    for example read below.

  • The end of the lesson is to fast and not detailed enough.

  • Nice lesson. I tought how to play Imagine :D I love that song.

No offence, but u talk very much. I mean, you have to talk, but you might talk a little to much :) Just a tip :D But hey! nice vid :) see around

  • What I did was find this song at heartwood guitar. com and print it out. They had the C/cmaj7/F version. Then I took Marty's lesson and made notes. "Its easy if you try....." : )

  • awesome!

  • Acabas de salcar mi vida!

    thanks you so much!

  • Eric clapton watched this.

  • Excellent, buddy, congratulation and thank you for your patience and time.

    God bless you.

    Carlos.

  • Awesome but i got lost in the end

  • @TheNewYoodx Know what you mean.. At first I thought Marty kinda left us high and dry.. But he didn't.. He embelished the same exact chords he showed us for the Bridge and switched up the stum a little different is all.. The entire song lesson is there..he just didnt "hold hand" when playing it 2 times.. Follow his instruction for bridge and u will do fine!

  • very nice! bookmarked

  • Yeah it's an Ok lesson but you're really really confusing when you're teaching the chorus. Have tabs or slow down when you're giving the fingering or something its really frustrating because you don't give a name for some of them just what fingers need to go where and it's soooo hard to figure out what you mean just by watching you.

  • MARTY SCHWartz BEST TEACHER OF YOUTUBE PERIOD

  • Nice a easy, thanks

  • Tune it down a semitone then it will sound like trhe original.. :)

  • it sounds like the original the way he plays it, whats the point in tuning down if your not playin along to a record and your just tryin to show people how to play it. :-)

  • great tutorial

  • "open b-string" at 3,24. You sure thats the one u mean??

  • Thank you very much!

    You helped me a lot.

  • Muito obrigado!

    Voce me ajudou muito.

  • that damn lick is really hard

  • Man, you give good lessons and improvs, but i just cant seem to remember all the chords, i just remember where to put my hands, chords are too numerous, If it wasnt for that id be better already

  • try remember chords as shapes with a name and number, not a chord as a name and number ,just a shape with your fingers

  • I love this guys lessons. He actually shows you how to play the song.

  • bacano,,,,,,gracias
