Sorry to insert myself into the conversation like this, but there would have been no need for '30 million' animals onboard. I hardly know any creationist that believes that the 'kinds' referred to in the Ark account were what we call 'species' today. Most believe that 'kinds' are more along the lines of the family level and that there was divinely driven rapid speciation post-Flood so that animals could spread out and live in different types of environments.

As for evolutionary theory, I have no problem with the speciation part of it. That's testable science. What I disagree with is the purely naturalistic paradigm that its presented in. After earning my degree in biology from a secular university, my faith was only strengthened.

It simply means that God empowers to do what we would not be able to without Him. By seeking God's face, we can have our prayers answered. And no one is dodging any challenge to move a mountain. The reason is simply because we don't have any reason to want to move any mountain. Plus, God doesn't need to prove His existence so superficially.

But don't you wonder why, if we really are the 'evolved form of primates', the discrepancy of level of intellect between us and monkeys etc. is so huge? Science says evolution has happened often enough, eg. fish grow legs and come onto land, but no other evolutionary process is as complicated as the one that causes a primate to 'magically' turn into a human being.

You have made your point clear that you don't believe in the gospel. You don't need to use your time to find every opportunity to bash Christianity. Ever since I accepted Christ into my life, my life has changed dramatically for the better - my attitude, relationships, and response to 'crisis' in life. At the time, there were several reputable historians living during Jesus' time, but because of the absolute rule, I believe their documents were destroyed and the historian's lives were threatened. They didn't want anything written about Jesus.

Sorry to insert myself into the conversation like this, but there would have been no need for '30 million' animals onboard. I hardly know any creationist that believes that the 'kinds' referred to in the Ark account were what we call 'species' today. Most believe that 'kinds' are more along the lines of the family level and that there was divinely driven rapid speciation post-Flood so that animals could spread out and live in different types of environments.

As for evolutionary theory, I have no problem with the speciation part of it. That's testable science. What I disagree with is the purely naturalistic paradigm that its presented in. After earning my degree in biology from a secular university, my faith was only strengthened.

But don't you wonder why, if we really are the 'evolved form of primates', the discrepancy of level of intellect between us and monkeys etc. is so huge? Science says evolution has happened often enough, eg. fish grow legs and come onto land, but no other evolutionary process is as complicated as the one that causes a primate to 'magically' turn into a human being.

@titanzrule87 I can't make this more plain: Jesus did not seek anyone out except those that the Father brought to Him. Throughout Scripture, Jesus sought to get away from the crowds. Understand this, there are people who will reject Jesus and will resist everything that has to do with Christianity. Their blood is not on my hands. If they know and still reject Jesus, then dust off your sandals and walk away (Luke 9:5, 10:11, 10:16; Mark 6:11; Matthew 10:14; Acts 13:51, 18:6).

At the time, there were several reputable historians living during Jesus' time, but because of the absolute rule, I believe their documents were destroyed and the historian's lives were threatened. They didn't want anything written about Jesus.
That may or may not be true; there are only two historians who make references to Jesus...getting names.

That's from a song. Idon't think the Romans feared an uprising from Jesus, they feared (or were wary of, militarilly I don't think they wold have had to much trouble) from the Jews. If the Bible is correct Jesus was claiming to be the king of the jews, hence he was a potential ringleader of revolt. Does that make sense?
