@iHasTehFlow It is necessary to land actually. It took my 2 attempts to get this trophy, and the first failed attempt was because I didn't land on the other side of the shortcut.

You can do this easily w/ Venom class as long as you have a speed power-up (which you should have if you choose speed lap) You have to land on the track after barrel rolling to get the trophy.

I'm shocked people are having trouble with this. I'm no pro AT ALL in this game and I found this is to be one of the easiest trophies in a game in which most of the trophies are either hard as shit (sometimes unnecessarily hard), time consuming, or both.

Use a Goteki-45 (sp?) ship. Normally, Feisar's my go to class, but Dark's racing in a Goteki, and I was really close to getting the trophy in one. With Feisar, I didn't even get close...

You have to perform a barrel roll while passing through the small hologram window.

To do a barrel roll, steer left-right-left or right-left-right quickly while in the air.

I believe you also need to land on the track for it to count.

@Darkdrium777 I just got the trophy without landing on the track, as long as the barrel roll is completed before you get reset and you go through the hole you get the trophy.

I agree that for new players it would be hard to think outside the track and look for shortcuts.

@Darkdrium777 I easily did ,it its the trophy information. It never said you had to pass through a window. for the majority people think you would just have to do a barrell roll to obtain it.

Thanks bud, I managed to do it after a few times of doing the barelroll but not being able to land properly.

Oh and for people who play with assist on; turn it OFF. It'll steer you away if you go over the track side.

Obviously, I can manage it pretty well.

It's a matter of personal preference. I prefer this view because I don't get confused by the camera spinning while I do a barrel roll.

It is available on blu-Ray in Europe. If you are not in Europe, you can import it. The game will work on your PS3, and there are absolutely no differences in region.

You mean you still can't get the trophy?

Keep trying, that hole in the wall is really small. Perhaps try at a slower speed to see if you can control your steering better. Remember, hit the turbo while flying up the last bump.

Also try watching this video with the annotations on first, to read the embedded tips, but then off again to watch it without pause. I know the annotation timing can sometimes make the video lag when it unpauses and you end up missing the critical piece of the action.

It's a bronze trophy because the gold or even silver trophies are much harder to do. Gold is often impossible to do until you can manage to beat the Elite AI on Phantom consistently.

This means that you must play the game a long while before you get Platinum, and therefore you have to like it. It's not a game for trophy hoarders :P

yes it is... i got the platinum in like a month. i thought it was relatively easy, compared to battlefield bad company, which i still haven't gotten after a year of playing

From my experience and talking to other people, it isn't easy at all in general.

I got the Platinum in less than a month, but this isn't the case for everyone. And it was delayed like that only because of Gemini (20 two player races and I couldn't have a buddy over before that.)

A lot of people have had troubles with the Elite AI on Chengou Project, for example. Until they can beat that, they can't have Platinum (Arcade Perfect.) And then Beat Zico, even if you know the method, is still a pain.

I did it in a "fastest lap" racebox event.

That way You can hit the "restore boost" button and turn around if You missed it.

You don´t have to do the whole lap again and again...

It's pretty easy. All you have to do is make sure you raise the nose and use turbo on the the far right side of the little hill in the track, otherwise you wont get enough turn and hit the wall.

I found the shortcut as well, but it took a few laps before I did =P. Just thought I'd mention that I didn't play on phantom, I chose rapier instead and it worked, but it's pretty hard to get through on that speed so phantom is probably a better choice.

Well, I saw the green window on that white background and I immediately said: "That must be it." Tried and succeeded on my first attempt, it was the first lap when I went looking for it.

Xtriko asked me for help an hour later or so, I said to him: "Oh well it's a quite obvious location." and I showed him online. He was like: "THATS NOT OBVIOUS!"
