  • is john usinh a telecaster here?

  • wow... looks JUST like Lennon and Elton!

  • Thanks.

  • It's clearly an actress playing Yoko, because she actually has an expression

  • E S P E C T A C U L A R ..

    JOHN LENNON ♥

  • Yoko looks excited..

  • What color is John Lennon's Telecaster?

  • the real John Lennon is in the audio only.

  • @ulisesmavridis The real Elton John as well. It's from a movie.

  • wait i am confused :s its that john lennon on the video or in the audio or both are fake? :o

  • @bluebeatlesboy What the heck is a Lennon supporter ..? Ive been a Beatle fan since I first saw them on Ed Sullivan when they first arrived in America. I never considered my self a supporter ...just a huge fan. Is a Lennon Supporter the opposite of a Mccartney Supporter? No real fan of the Beatles takes sides like this.

  • Thank you for clarifying! I'm just relieved Elton and John only slapped each other's backs when Lennon came out.

  • @mikegerski why? it would upset you if the kissed each other?

  • Yoko Ono v.2

  • That, my friends, is the awesomest cape ever.

  • That, my friends, is the awesomest cape ever.

  • A very close friend saw John Lennon and Eric Clapton live in Toronto in 1969

  • @bluebeatlesboy Clearly it is Yoko, and this footage although pieced together was from the actual show!

  • @avalanche344 Correction, I was posting on the wrong footage. Another guy has the actual show in bits and pieces , but this is definitely John and Yoko

  • @avalanche344 John and Yoko on the other footage I was referring to.

  • Thank you for this video! I was there and will never forget it as long as I live! I still can't belive my parents let me skip Thanksgiving dinner at age 14 to go to a concert in NYC with my cousin! ; )

  • @itsmehellokitty You lucky lucky lucky person god bless!!!

  • @avalanche344 ; )

  • Whaouuuuuuuuuuu !!!! I love it !!!!! My idols on the same stage....and John with his eternal chewing-gum..... ;)

  • This is from a TV biopic from circa 1985.

  • I was at this concert with my sister and my friend. We went all four nights and sat in the first, second and fourth rows. THAT IS NOT YOKO!!!!!! She was sitting right in back of us and she was sitting with Andy Warhol. She was wearing a white pants suit. How could you think you could get away with splicing in an Asian woman that could look like Yoko.....

  • this particular video seems to be a reinactment. Far too many faces are not the real people.

  • did you get to upload your footage?kmlh9

  • I have an original super 8 (no sound) video of this. We were right side orchestra, 12th row, across from Yoko. Back then you could wait in line for tickets, and we went into the city the night before the sale. At 2AM they opened the windows and we walked away with that entire row. It was the best concert ever. I transferred the film to VHS when that was the new medium and added music. I'm sure there are others out there, but, like mine, the quality would not be up to today's standards.

  • @mommamaxx I'd love to watch your footage!!! could you please upload it??

  • @ulisesmavridis How do you upload from VHS? I still have the original super 8 also.

  • @mommamaxx Do you still have the super 8 footage?

  • @sgtpepper1138 please read the description of my video, she already uploaded it!

  • @mommamaxx (oops) correction: left side orchestra.

  • @mommamaxx Your video of the concert is the only one that EXISTS! Incredible piece of Rock and Roll History you have there, Momma! :-)

  • @mommamaxx Greetings from Australia again ! Did you see other spectators with their own camera's? Geez if this 11-28-74 show was taped in it's entirity why doesn't Elton put it out, warts and all ? That MSG atmosphere was just electric. That's certainly what comes accross especially on the opening songs and the Lennon tracks!

  • I think this is from a made for tv movie about John and Yoko because that is NOT yoko in that footage

  • @themovielady yes, the scenes are from "John & Yoko, a love story" it's noted in the description of the video. No original video of this event has surfaced.

  • @themovielady I don't know if this is footage of her is from that concert, but I was there and she was sitting across the aisle from me. I recall her keeping her winter coat on, as if she was trying to not to be noticed.

  • I suppose it was Elton's friendship with John that got him the ability to record and do a cover of Lucy in the sky with diamonds .I wonder if John asked for royalties or just said what ever since it was his buddy .Anybody know ?

  • @flyingscience As far as I know the record company, in this case Elton's, pays royalties not to Lennon/McCartney as composers, but to the publisher house of the song in order to have permission to record a cover version of any copyrighted song. The publisher then pays a % to Lennon/McCartney as composers. I guess this is independent of the friendship between Elton & John. BTW b side of the original 45 is "One day at a time", also written by Lennon and he appears playing guitar on both sides.

  • Otra de tus maravillas Ulises Leyenda. Gracias.

  • @jafigueroa41 gracias amigo!
