Did anyone else think that its weird that spike became an astronaut??? I mean, does anyone else remember the whole cavemen vs. astronauts thing? cuz i do.

@conversejunkie2222 Yep, of course I remember the cavemen Vs astronauts! :)) Actually Spike is not an astronaut. He is a captain of a steampunk. We haven't seen his ship to fly into the space. It is flying only between the dimensions. And maybe it's a time machine?! I hope we'll find out soon :)

i really think that the buffy comics sucks.... i read some series but i stopped cause the story is boring in a weird super unrealistic way...i mean com'on! Spike in a spaceship?! and that annoying angel is back again? and buffy is acting like nothing happened between her and spike before the end of hellmouth!

@McLydik Yeah, Buffy/Spike cold reunion in issue 36 wasn't very pleasant, but Buffy still has feelings for Spike - read issue 37, and that gives me some hopes. And Spike having a flying ship is a kind of cool. ;)) But you're right - Angel-Twangel is so annoying, even more than usual. I hope they will kick his ass in the end. I really can't stand him around Buffy. ;)

@allonsyalonso10 Thank you! I hated the Twilight arc - that Buffy/Angel flying sex was absolutely pointless! I hope the outgoing Joss's arc - The Last Gleaming to be better. Well, Spike's back to end this twilight crap once and for all! ;))

But I've heard the writer Willingham is leaving the Angel series and the news writers probably will fix the flaws of his poorly storyline. And these comics aren't a cannon so I don't think the Willingham's silly ideas will reflect on the main storyline...

This would be my perfect ending to season 8. Thx so much for making this video. My only hope for the comics is that as this Joss Whedon the current relationship with Angel will have a tragic ending which is the same for all relationships he writes think firefly, dr horrible, dollhouse, angel, buffy.

Actually I don't care about B\A tragic ending, but I afraid that he wouldn't give us a Spuffy happy ending... well, Spike's back on Buffy S8 so everithing is possible - I keep my fingers crossed Buffy to ends up with Spike - both of them deserve each other! ;)

i actually was able to speak to scott allie who is the editor of the comics. he said that spike will get treated well, he just isn't being given any attention. i'll let u know if there's anything else.

Loved it my thoughts exactly. It royally pisses me off that they just forgot everything, and they compared Spike to the cabin in the woods and Angel to home. I'm also a Cangel shipper and they've completely forgotten her too.I'm sorry but why do these comic writers think the know everything?To me they don't know scquat. I'm not gonna quit the comics in hopes they get better, but I'm skipping 34 cuz I heard its just a big porno scene between her and Angel the entire time.

It's a shame of Joss! I think I'm done with these comics! I'd like to keep my good memories about the both shows!

That was so great! Even though I'm not even close to being done reading the comics. I kinda lost interest in Buffy S8 because there's no Spike...and if Buffy and Angel get back together then I'm not gonna bother because I completely agree with your description. Spuffy forever!

@xDarkSerpentx Thank you! Yeah, I lost my interest in Buffy comics because the lack of Spike, and that was a kind wrong to brought back Angel as Buffy's destined lover... Spike always was better than him and I've watched all damn show because of him. Spike and Buffy made the show, not Buffy and Angel. Angel was good in his own show, but he sucked on Buffy's. And their relationship was boring! I hope Joss will open his eyes and will get Spike and Buffy together again!

Once again I completely agree! I love Angel in his own show too but really I thought his relationship with Buffy was just too predictable and almost too good to be true, kinda like Bella and Edward, I really don't see that as a realistic relationship. Buffy and Spike's love was much more real and raw - hate to love is one of the most powerful relationships. It's unfair that there was such a huge focus on it from S5-7 then all of a sudden it disappears completely in S8 like it meant nothing.

AWESOME!!!! I'm holding out that Spike may make an appearance in Buffy S8 to help her out with this Twilight situation! I'll be glad when Spike is on his own also - I can't stand this Bill Willams who's writing the Angel arc at this time - he makes Spike out to be such a boob!

Spike is the only other characte other than Cordy who can pop over from IDW to DH. So maybe we will see Spike!!

Actually Bill Willingham is writing Angel's arc and he makes Spike OOC ;) Bill Williams will make Spike's mini-series, the names of these guys are almost similar and I've mixed them up ;) I hope Williams Spike-series would be better than Willingham's boob-Spike! LOL And Buffy is out of her character as well. I have a feeling that writers of the both comics haven't watched the show before... ;)

I think you are right - I believe neither have watched Buffy at all - and if you are going to write Spike - you need to especially pay attention to Season 7.

Wow, Veiriti, you sure have expressed what many feel. I know I do. On my part, I am tired of the PTB in the real Buffyverse swinging from one fan base to the other. If it's to be Bangel, then I wish they'd stuck with that, and none of this, "Buffy was in love with Spike the moment their hands clasped." stuff, which JW is quoted as having said at a San Diego convention. I prefer Spuffy; if it's Bangel, just let Spike survive to live in his own comics. Enough is enough.
