OMG!!! can any one be more retarded? You can't kick you don't kick for goal when you get a penalty and you keep on playing when it's full time and your defence stinks. You didn't even try to create oppertunities plus your attack was weak. You also didn't have any structure. If you played against a challanging team like the All Blacks or England Carter and Wilkinson would have kick you into your demise and you wouldn't even have scored one try

here is the ultimate challenge -

go to team management, edit a team (i did the barbarians) and make them a dream team. it is possible to make an all star team apart from the front row (your only star locks are - g. smith, and nyanga from france).

then play against them with a side with a rating below 50. turn fatigue, handling, and injuries on full and play in strong wind.

i've only ever done it once, it is near impossible.

in 2p games the only way to play this game is end on. so the defense can see where their fullback is and the attack can be. same goes for the 1player so u can better direct where your kicks are going. As for the AI computer team.. well they are as good as a computer team can be but that will never match what 2player game play can deliver.

the hover view it is a shit house view of the play and looks more like moving chess than rugby.

p.s. i have not lost to the computer on elite.. ever

ok ok ok its on ps2 and xbox, no next gen to speak of yet. its only really worth getting if u got the other people to play it with coz the 1 player life of the game is pretty limited. they have all the expected 2 player options like world cup/tornaments/exhibitions etc.

This is definately new, cause Ireland had their new jerseys in the screen shots. I'm happy as shit! I loved 06 but agree it needed more interactive rucks, mauls, scrums and lineouts.....seemed like the computer just make the decision for you.

Rucks, mauls and scrums all have a much more hands on apprach depending upon the camera angle you have it on. It varies from each.

They really screwed up the drop goal kicking.I liked the old drop kick cause I also used it as my chip kick.I assumed that there would be more on the fly control,a chip kick button,nope. This game really needs to look into a better control scheme and maybe have a modifier button like in the NHL 2K series. Drop kick interface was a real let down and you can't change it back to the old way, at least on the version I purchased in the United States, back to playing Rugby 06 some more.
