How Long did it take some of you guys to get your pipe if you bought it from Macqueens? i paid for 4-10 day shipping but the site says it can take from 4-12 weeks to make. just wondering how long it took you guys personally. Thanks

@ccbam MacQueen pipes sucks, I ordered one in October, and its now Febuary, and I am STILL WAITING for my pipe. They dont return emails,and when they do, its excuse after excuse as to why it hasnt shipped. According to Canada's Better Business Bureau, they got an F for service and failure to provide products that were paid for. Youre better off going elsewhere for a pipe.

I paid 2 pipes in this store 8 months ago and has not yet been sent to me , I dont know what to do, they say me that packets are lost by the shipping company and are always telling stories about the pipes . This is a joke . My advice : dont buy anything in this site .

My brother used to smoke pipe tobacco with me and smoked marijuana as well. He always said that he didn't like using a pipe meant for tobacco for marijuana (clean or otherwise). Churchwarden pipes have a different draw on them that I have ever experienced...gah I miss my old one..

Their shipment times are horrible. I have never been more disappointed with a retailer. I ordered in March and as of the end of July - nearly 6 months later, I have no pipe.

They don't respond to their emails/inquiries and have an easy time losing track of your order.

@Viertelhausen Agree, worst customer service ever. I would love to say that it was worth it because the pipe is so amazing, but I'm also yet to see my pipe 6 months after ordering. The communication with Stephanie, their customer service person, is so absurd I feel like I'm in a Kafka novel about web-commerce.

I had a old plastic jar home that i fixed and shaped it and took some wood i found in the forest sanded it all and smoked rasperry earlgreay tea in it :)

@butterybeefslinguh i've only smoked weed out of joints and bongs. and smoked a pipe once or twice, but you would see all the old indians smoking weed out of pipe, but you know when you smoke your bong or joint you get all that resin at the end? might that have a possibltity of cloggiing up the stem? best to check out some kind of Stonerforum or Zoklet. if i were to guess i would say if you want out a long stemd pipe get a cheap one to start (and saves more money for your next bag)

@cdrdogboy : Ditto here. I ordered a warden and ranger in early Jan. I received a couple of emails from Ryan MacQueen in March. A month ago, I got an email stating the order status had been changed to "shipped". Despite "rush" shipping, 5 email requests for updates, i've been unable to get a response. I noticed they changed the turnaround time from 4-6 weeks to 8-12...I'm 16 weeks in...perhaps they need to update their website again and make it "maybe someday".

I've heard that the Wizard smokes wet, have you found this to be the case?

@Sezjes Not really, I'd say that could be a tobacco issue or an over-packing issue. These pipes have small bowls and it takes a little time to learn how to pack them right so you don't get this issue.

@PipeinItUp From personal standpoint I like the way cherry ages and adds a little extra to the smoke/room note. It's a favorite alternative wood of mine and it was also the same wood used for "ancient" pipes. Thanks for the question!

@joshskorton I went to order my dwarf and I selected cherry wood and it didn't charge me for the extra 10 bucks is that normal? I tried like three times so i ordered in in cherry and it still rang up at 49.99 so do you know if they discontinued the dwarf in cherry wood or what? I know you have the ash wood but did you try and order it cherry?

@PipeinItUp Wouldn't worry about it, you can always send an e-mail to the company just to make sure, tell them I sent you too...it will look good. But I doubt the price would change, My pipe is in ash, and as I said it's quite neutral but still smokes great.

@The0rangePanda This may sound like I'm busting your balls, but I'm not, I use long pipe cleaners smoking pipes dot com has them. I clean after every use because I fear clogging. To take care of your current problem I'd use a long piece of sturdy wire to get it out. Just go slow and don't break your pipe. This is all speaking from experience restoring ebay pipes with acrylic stems I have no idea what could happen to your macqueen so use caution. Keep on smokin! -Josh
