  • I also forgot to mention that dimpled rotors are also safe as they don't allow any cracks to form (or very rarely) & still help brake fade.

  • Drilled is VERY dangerous & in tests has shown to be ineffective. Slotted however is not & allows pad dust to be exhausted & a slight amount of ventilation. But drilled rotors WILL crack at high temps & can lead to complete rotor failure. Ask a mechanic or a mechanical engineer.
