  • its not a BELLANCA! perfect landing

  • you guys have no idea what your talking about piots cant "just go for it"

  • Looks like a perfect landing for a tail-dragger. Definitely a nice touchdown considering the circumstances. Better for it to be a real wheel that's screwed up, though, than the nose.

  • Perfect!!

  • I was the one that did the video. He was nervous so he was doing some practice runs while burning off his fool incase he crashed. he did an awesome job landing it.

  • anyone know why he was taking is time and doing some over shoots?

  • @skat0r He was probably burning off as much fuel as possible just in case he hits hard on the nose and the air-craft tumbles and catches fire. Just to avoid fire cause even if you turn off the engine , there is some fuel left in the engine unburnt and it may catch fire or he hits one wing down , then the wing might catch fire( seeing its a low wing aircraft) . So under both these circumstances, he chose to burn much of the fuel to avoid a major fire thus saving himself and the plane . helped ?

  • I couldn't really see, but I think he tried to bounce the gear down before landing. Sometimes it works to jar the stuck gear back into position. At any rate, GREAT landing.

  • Nicely done. Better than a bent prop, anyhow! :-)

  • very nice

  • Great job. That had to have been pretty scary for the pilot. Don't blame him for taking his time and trying to come in as slow as possible and floating as long as he could.

  • No, not scary, we learn so that we can keep our cool and no what to do in this situation.

  • Excellent video!
