I can clearly tell you why the lion attacked that woman. it's basic instinct. the wide fast arm gestures were seen as a direct threat, and as such the Lion, being in a room with no visible escape, decided to attack. It's instinct not a reaction due to the animal being ''evil'' as some uninformed people tend to say on videos like these. And even if he wanted to kill her, not just prevent her from moving like that, he could have snaped her neck before the keeper had a chance to pull him off her.

People need to learn that these are wild animals, and they belong either in a habitat like at big cat rescue or in their original habitat. Poachers, and people who are looking to have these creatures as pets just need to remember that they cannot be tamed. They aren't house cats

These people are complete idiots, the woman just HAD to have a lion in her video to make it all pretty, didn't learn her lesson after the first 2 times the poor lion went after her...the guy wasn't so great at restraining a huge lion on a chain was he? And then to KICK the lion in the face?! Don't know if that makes me more sad or mad, but I'm plenty of both! She totally deserved it, and 4 broken ribs just from that humongous lion knocking her down? Powerful cat!

This video is total bullshit. The woman was acting stupidly around the lion, doing provocative poses and the lion playfully pounced on her. Yes, when something that weighs 3 times as much as you do lands on you unexpectedly, you can get some broken ribs. It was not an "attack", nor a "mauling". The whole premise of the photo shoot was stupid and the lion's owners were stupid for allowing the woman to act like that.
