I know i'm hecka late on this but I do believe that, tht is the letter "D" And then the number 2, I think it's shortened because usually when her arm is marked it says "DEN2". But yeah, I don't think her arms says number "02"

She was made from Miku yes. Now let's see the timeline... She was made before Haku. (Haku was born somewhere near the 20th of Nov. Neru was at Nov 1, i think) Rin was announced between the two (haku & neru) So, Neru was most likely the 1st fanmade VOCALOID. Hence making her 02, as Miku is 01. Smith Hioka never expected a Rin that time. So after Rin and Len came out, her code was DEN2.
