well i have ALWAYS wanted to go there :)

  • When going to Micheal's get ur 40% coupon from the Internet and that way you save on one item. Keep hubby happy.

  • wow thats great for a first scrapbooking haul

  • I'm new too...maybe get some magz, like, scrapbooking ones cuz I've found they have a lot of ideas for layouts and they they have patterns at the back of them. I have about 5 of them and have 3 that target beginners and give tips on everything. What tools to get to start and how to organize your pics for layouts...and way more. from 1 beginner to another, have fun...it's the most important as a scrapbooker/cardmaker. See ya later! Jules

  • i have the same fiskars trimmer and the same corner rounder punch.i also have some of those little ink pads cuz i don't have alot of storage for the bigger ones.also i use baseball card holders for the little acrylic stamps they fit perfectly.happy scrapping:)

  • Nice haul

  • Wow! Thats a lot for a beginner LOL! Great Video! I LOVE scrpbking too and my friend got me hooked LOL, She made sooo many cute projects and things that I started going to Michael's and a whole bunch of other places. I absolutely ADORE $1 stamps. They are always so cute and are a pretty good type of stamp LOL. Great Haul!

  • Ooh you've bought some great goodies!! :o) Can't wait to see some finished makes :o) One tip for you... To keep hubby happy lol... Only go craft shopping with cash and leave credit cards at home lol, once you start you can't stop now there's sooo much lovely stuff out there. Other than that, just have a play and don't be afraid to give things a try, experiment and have fun :o) tc xx

  • Wow, that's a lot of supplies for a beginner, but I know how you feel. The first time I started I bought EVERYTHING! LOL.

You mentioned how the wooden stamps were bulky... what you could do is stick them in the microwave for about 20-30 secs and then peel them off the blocks (sometimes they get really hot, so wear thick gloves). They have enough sticky for you to use acrylic blocks and take up less space. You could store them in a clear empty CD case.

    TFS! Have fun!

  • I love the comment that your sucked into all this scrapbooking thing and being obsessed...lol

Yep...You have been bit by the bug! :c) It's a good bug bite...and one that will help you preserve memories....

Happy Scrapping! I loved seeing your stuff! :c)

  • just a reminder... self disicpline my dear.make sure u would use what you buy.. don't be like me.. i have tons and tons of scrapbook materials and get to use maybe just 10% of it... then again, i feel i gotta have some more....Good luck.. i love scrapbook haul videos..

  • Awesome stuff! I always feel like I go overboard too even when I shop the sales and clearance, because even 1.00 items add up quick! I think you have a ton to work with though, have fun creating!!

  • You got a lot of good stuff. Scrapbooking is addicting, I think we all over buy things.

I never buy anything unless it is on sale or without a coupon. Michaels and JoAnns always have sales. There are some great on line stores, as well, that have sales too. Try not to buy too much at first (I should listen to myself). Watch Youtube for great tutorials, but most important: dive in and just do it!!!

  • A very nice beginners haul, and I'd like to suggest you go on the web site. That is where I get all kinds of free print fonts, clip art, lay outs and etc. It is endless, and I usually save it and print it out later when I need it. You will develop your own style as you go along. I live on Oahu. Fellow islanders.......scrap on. :)

  • You got some good supplies to start. I really like the glue you bought, I use it all the time. Remember, scrapbooking doesn't have to be elaborate or difficult. Don't be afraid to scraplift (copy) other layouts and put your own spin on it. And you can find good stuff at discount stores or the clearance aisles of Joanns, Michaels, Walmart, etc.

  • You will like the inks a lot... I suggest you subscribe to Michaels site for coupons, sometimes other stores will honor the coupons. JoAnns in my area mails coupons and you can find some links on line too. Watch videos and pick what supplies you want, it can be a very pricey hobbie and craft and it doesn't have to be. I would suggest some pop-dots or foam adhesives for your next purchase and use the 40 percent coupons. Nice video.

  • Wow, you have gone all out on supplies for a newbie. Don't worry we all have gone through what you're going through - I still that way (impulsive buyer) . Check out LeahJohanna's channel here on YouTube on scrapooking for beginners. It gives you all the products for beginners. Enjoy!!! I from Hawaii too but now I leave in Virginia. What Island?
