@CaliKorleone Why would you want this offline when you can simply have your next opponent walk up and play? All of the online modes are pretty useless offline on console. Thats why there's just versus.

@anthonygamer When you have a group of friends over, you can hold a tournament and you won't have to worry about making brackets because the game will do it for you. SSF2 and SNES had a tournament mode. I remember me a friends playing that a lot.

I fear that this mode might not become popular just how no one plays team mode. If they added points to tournament mode I have a feeling that people will flock to it like they did with championship mode. I will be playing this mode though you can count on that!

i kinda miss championship mode :l thats the only thing i played in vanilla since rank matches always stressed me out.

@sngoku thats why i dont play rank matches as stated, it stresses me out when that happens. Also i dont know why developers let you change the settings in rank matches. Unlike rank match, in champ mode you dont really lose anything (until G1) and you get to fight people somewhat at your level. It was all good fun with points and without the stress of rank matches, for me atleast.

@ItsJustSuppi agree man, another reason i hate ranked matches is that everyone will always pick their main (usually ryu) due to fear of losing points. i miss player match where we can mess around and try out new characters. Im forced to play ranked matches because i use arcade request :((

I was shocked when G1 was cool. It really put pressure on both players to succeed! The threat of losing your score was big!!! It was like G3 and G2 was practice and G1 was the real thing!! When I first got there, I went in with a casual aspect like in G2 and was getting raped by a hyper-active Akuma! I saw that I lost points and got serious like him from then on! I then went TYRANT with my El Fuerte and killed everyone in my first real attempt @ the road to the gold!

@Hastro2D Daigo actually said gameinn is his friend's account but he plays on it all the time. He said that during the GodsGarden Nico stream last week. He also said not to send friend requests to his friend's account.
