None of the Final Fantasy VII spin-offs had blood either, outside of cutscenes, anyway (cases in point when Cloud stabs Sephiroth with the Buster Sword in Crisis Core, or when Chaos shoves Azul's cannon thing through his chest in Dirge of Cerberus). Probably from animation issues or something like that.

I remember being so into this game I bought into theory that you could resurrect Aeris. There were clues in the game that you could like seeing her ghost back at the church. @TrippyScarecrow Officially its Aerith, however in the original English translation they spelled her name Aeris because of language barrier. iirc, general convention is to refer to her as Aerith when talking about anything but the original game, where either is accetable.
This is really noticable on Wikipedia, where the page for the original game refers to her as 'Aeris' but all other pages (including her character page) spell it 'Aerith'.
I really don't understand your tactics in the Jenova battle. You have the Water Ring equipped on Cloud, and all her attacks are water based, so there's no Cloud can die unless you do something very silly, like you do at the beginning. Stop wasting MP and items reviving Cid and Tifa (they'll only die again) and just attack, you can revive them afterwards!
i'm always so confused about how to set up your materia - tactics (since i'm new to jrpg-s, and i'm playing ff7 now), but i'm starting to understand, that you can win the fight with your own setup... for example, i used barrier - all, haste - all, and cure2 - all tactics... with these options, i managed, to stay alive here, at genova, and i was using bolt 2, summons, and trine against it... this game is sooo deep... i feel upset, that i couldn't play this, when i was 6 years old, and it came out

I remember being so into this game I bought into theory that you could resurrect Aeris. There were clues in the game that you could like seeing her ghost back at the church. But it turns out you cannot unless you have a gameshark I guess. But if they put more secrets in RPGs like that then they would be way more entertaining at least in my opinion.

@TrippyScarecrow Officially its Aerith, however in the original English translation they spelled her name Aeris because of language barrier. iirc, general convention is to refer to her as Aerith when talking about anything but the original game, where either is accetable.
This is really noticable on Wikipedia, where the page for the original game refers to her as 'Aeris' but all other pages (including her character page) spell it 'Aerith'.

I really don't understand your tactics in the Jenova battle. You have the Water Ring equipped on Cloud, and all her attacks are water based, so there's no Cloud can die unless you do something very silly, like you do at the beginning. Stop wasting MP and items reviving Cid and Tifa (they'll only die again) and just attack, you can revive them afterwards!

i'm always so confused about how to set up your materia - tactics (since i'm new to jrpg-s, and i'm playing ff7 now), but i'm starting to understand, that you can win the fight with your own setup... for example, i used barrier - all, haste - all, and cure2 - all tactics... with these options, i managed, to stay alive here, at genova, and i was using bolt 2, summons, and trine against it... this game is sooo deep... i feel upset, that i couldn't play this, when i was 6 years old, and it came out
