There is no way to know whether it was filmed in Red Forest of Chernobyl or in just any other forest! There is nothing special and if Geiger counter is turned to its highest sensitivity its counting rate would be just like in this footage because of the natural radioactivity (mostly cosmic rays)!
In 2008 they were not allowing anyone into the Red Forest due to the high levels of radiation... much less letting anyone get away from the tour groups.

It may be that the Soviets buried their spent rods in this area. That would explain the amazing levels of radiation in this one area. I was in the "Zone" and saw the real "Red forest" — looks different: grow back stubble with low trees — mostly pine, birch sometimes...
After the ChNPP accident (over 25 y.ago) — all that trees was cut down and buried — new trees hadn't time to grow
In this film I see a big trees:100 years old! An abandoned house can be found everywhere — I have similar in the nearby forest to me

this is not red forest. red forest is red because of radiation. its forbitten to go there, because tree bark cna easyly fall off and expose lot of radiation inside the tree. forest fire in red forest will cause 2nd chernobyl

i love how people make up crap like this. its not real.i have watched videos of people driving down the road near the red forest and there Geiger counter is having a spaz attack.plus as soon as you walk in the red forest you would be so infected with radiation you would be dead in two years easily. looks and when you stop to look at that house the music stops and the sound of the Geiger counter stops.then magically the Geiger counter starts up again. this videois up just to get some views

Amazing how many people don't have a clue... there's no way this is real. you'd only have to drive past the red forest on the road near it and your Geiger counter would be going spastic. see: watch?v=DcEmtMEJb0A for those who need a reality check - you must have a guide with you at all times in the exclusion zone, no way they are going to let you go for a stroll in the most contaminated area of chernobyl.
