spot on as always John. You have the right reason. Now add the disclaimer that there are limited situations where micronutrients become more available when cooked, e.g. carotenes in carrots, lycopene in tomatoes, feuric acid in corn (a potent anti-carcinogen), and querticin in onion. NOW GO CHANGE THAT TIE!!! lol.
I won't add a disclaimer. The reason why cooking makes micronutrients more available is because it ruptures the cell walls. Juicing and Blending will also rupture cell walls without heat and without damaging the enzymes as cooking does... and also make micronutrients more available. Promise.. No more ties :) At least for a while.
What are the news with that distracting white necktie, silly? LMAO! Ur good and funny too! But nooo John, too much of a contrast in that... the necktie could walk alone by itself leaving the shirt behind...
There is no one thing that is more important than another when it comes to raw hood and health. It's all a mystery that we can not figure out. Just eat raw food and don't think about it. Nice shirt.
parsley, cilantro, chive, spring onion, dill. are they good nutrient sources and can they be considered as a leafy vegetables? I eat them a lot, apart from lettuce and spinach, so I wonder if they are good and if they do the work of balancing the fruit sugars, as you maybe know from the wolfe triangle. thanks a lot, keep making great videos :)
John, another great video, as always! yours is one of the best raw food channels on you tube imo. :) i would support your store if i lived in the usa. some questions:
1. how much fat/carb/protein do you consume everyday in presentage and how does it translate to food? like for fat "half a cup/cup of nut or seeds+2 table spoon of coconut oil"?
i think i do like 60% fruit/20% fat/10% veggies/10% greens atm
i try to eat greens as much as i can and i like them.
try make him right for whatever he's doing right and you will increase his interest to listen to you. Then try to bring in a raw food restau or make raw food meals for you and him and have him feel the difference but let him come up with the understanding by himself, don't enforce it on him or else you'll make him rigid.
I approve this message! My colleague who is close to obese overweight and was diagnosed undernourished by his doctor, to his own surprise, thinks the vitamin pills he was prescribed (instead of a diet advice) saves his day. I told him he was missing out on the micro nutrients but to this day it falls on deaf ears...

@okraw - Good video, John. Also, I like your tie. But don't listen to what I or anyone else has to say. If you like it, go for it!

John, is there a right way or wrong way to combinate eating fruit and vegetables (ie., bananas and blueberries together with greens, etc)?
