I finally got the damn letter 9. I practiced a bit on the black desert since that certain part is the same concept with the letter. I had to watch the video a few times to see where you were actually leaping. But finally got it. Now I just need to fight the bosses on their harder mode.

I have no idea how the hell you do that hyper prinny barrage. I've known people who have played platformers a long time..I have too. Either I haven't perfected the art of button mashing or you have a secret.

on the 9th letter, I actually used a dash jump to get underneath.

you have to start from the beggining,and time it absolutely PERFECTLY.

if you dont time it perfectly, you get underneath, and when you do the second jump to get on the platform with the letter, you bon=unce off and have to start over.

took me like an hour to perfect it XD

These 2 letters are hard as hell but I also managed to get them. Got the 10th a couple of minutes ago, and then I wanted to check YouTube if someone else did this and managed to record it, and voilá...

In videos like this, and doubt that it would have helped me if I watched this video before I got the letters myself, figuring out out how to do isn't hard, the really tricky part is to get the proper timing.

But anyway, nice seeing someone who recorded this =D

well, no, actually, you need the 10 letters to face her in Asagi mode, but u can also face her in the "lil' Asagi come home" DLC

After about an hour I finally got the last letter. That last jump isn't as hard as I thought (though it would have been easier to know where to start if this video showed a successful jump). Nonetheless, this video was the only video on YouTube for the last letter and I don't think I could have done gotten it without it. Thanks for the post.

The very last jump (where the letter actually is), you miss the ledge in the video. Since it's one of those "fall through the hole then double-jump up to the ledge wall falling" jumps, I have trouble knowing exactly where to start the first jump.

One little tip for the first jump:

Make sure that when you start spinning that you are facing right and are as far right on the top of the stage entrance as you can be. Facing right means that you can make one more step while spinning before you fall off the platform/lose one of your jumps. The area above the stage entrance has very few steps so every little bit counts. Doing this let me make the first jump about 9 out of 10 times as opposed to about 1 out of 10 times earlier

I'm a bit surprised, getting the 9th letter actually took me longer than the 10th. That first dash jump where you have no room was kinda hard, but once I got up there did it all in one go. Must have been lucky.

But now I have a question. I am pretty sure I collected all letters, but nothing happened it seems. If I start a new game I get no option for Asagi mode either. Do I have to talk to someone or do something?...

You dont even have to do the prinny dance dash jump for that part. I just jumped out and then in and was able to hang on the ledge.

u could just go 2 gamespot & use the special code(using buttons,not hack) & if u hear something after doing it it's sucessful

Its the fire one with the lava and the ninjas I think the 3rd. Just after the part with the flying laser shooting thingy you get to a flat part with a some ninjas and a bouncing fireball....BTW the part with the archer and the half-circle fireball on top was just ridiculous took me like 150 prinnies just that, have any effective was around it?

there's a cheat, you know? press triangle, square, circle, triangle, square, circle, x in the title screen with the cursor on the new game. you'll hear a voice in the bg if the cheat worked. the stages will change.

i believe the exact same button sequence was used to unlock the Etna story mode in Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness PSP without finding Etna's secret Diary during the normal story.

Arigatou su~ (#10) With how annoying the first jump was. By the time I got to the 4th jump I was like... wuh? So I looked for a guide. (Turns out 4 was easy) I really hated the 1st jump (It keeps failing on that ledge!) the 5th jump (keep 2nd jumping too quickly) and the last jump (Climb all that way... to fail!) But not too long, and I got it. Thanks a lot :D Teleport thing was cool, I didn't know why you put the comment on the video at first. Then I looked down and saw why... GJ

Thanks for the videos! I thought the 9th one was a hassle, but once you get the jump-straight jump down it's a lot easier. I managed to do the 10th one on my first run once I got onto the second platform :)

A little tip someone posted on a forum to make the first dash-jump onto the platform easier; hold circle with your middle finger and then use your index finger to press jump. I couldn't pull the jump off using my thumb only, but when I tried it like this it worked every time.

Sorry for the offtopic but, what do you actually unlock with the lucky dolls? does it have something to do with the characters on your prinny base? (ninja, mage, clerics, the girl in the box... I don't have them in my base). Also, I've collected and unlocked songs but I don't know where to change them!

Actually, I'm unable to get it from the right as well, but I don't think you can even get it from the left.

I've managed to get one correct jump from the right platform, but I messed up the 2nd half of the jump and it went too low. >.>

Took a very long time, but after you get it, that first jump became the easiest part.

After you get each part down, it's pretty easy to repeat.
