teams playing in the esl pro-series nowadays feature 50%+ players that werent even considered for pcws on the invite/preinvite-level.

moreover cod4 took a massive slowdown gameplaywise with the 2008-lanseason and promod(good thi9ng but ppl die faster, ak74 is overpowered) so the game became more and more of a cod2-style sit&wait instead of the skillful offensive style that dominated moretheless the first 6-9 months

true but there still some different between cod2 and cod4. Im in a preinvite team on cod4, but i just suck at cod2. =) i also think there are more skilled cod2 players then cod4. and ak74 isnt overpowered :) on short distance it is. but if you use the ak47/sniper the right way, ak74 has no chance. most top-teams only use 1 ak74 instead of the 2 ( there are only 2 ak74's available on promod)

i used to be a pc gamer but then last year i bought a ps3. i found getting good at ps3 much easier than a pc. but pc is better for playing it on because of the sensitivity levels and controls etc. if your trying to get used to it i recomend wacking the sensativity up really high and play in a free for all of 20+ people. within a week you will e used to it then jsut play normal games and you will get better and better. but there are loads of pros on there so watch out lol. (and the odd hacker :(

Almost all tournaments use ProMod now, its like normal Cod4 but only Bandolier and Stopping Power perks, some noob guns been removed, and only attachment is a Silencer. It feels abit different to normal Cod4, the guns behave a little different too, but its far better and as the name suggests, "Pro"
