I just got it last night, took me 3 tries, but my method included just bombing the shit out of the boss with the charged up Gun.. and of course learning his patterns, which made everything so much easier

I tried this on my account and my daughter's account, didn't mind passing the boss again and again, trained me for that perfect fight. Alien Hominid never updates never patches, I think these are considered cheats, not glitches.
