lol theres a trick to singing like amy, and plenty of other singers use it too. the trick is, you hold a lit candle in front of your mouth and sing. if your breath blows out the flame, you're using too much air. when you sing, you shouldn't exhale enough to blow out the flame. if you can master this, you can hold notes longer, like amy :3

Didn't except, that this album becomes so good...after "The Open Door" i lost the hope to Amy's creativity, all songs sounded similar. This album is by far the best Evanescence ever produced, it's many-faceted and rocks more than the other 2 albums. Fuckin' great :D

Didn't anyone noticed something isn't right in this song? she sings: follow your heart till it bleeds as we run towards the end of the dream 2:53 till 3:14 without taking ANY breath.. they did a good job in the studio or she is just good :)

@mickMooW her singing technique is just focused on breathing! She can sing everything, but she's really powerfull.. really really much practise with the breathing.! you can notice it from her singing She loves to sing belted also!

@mickMooW It's easy to achieve using old Italian vocal training techniques, including the Farinelli method (I think I spelled that right, someone check me) in which you practice sustained notes and train yourself to take deeper, fuller breaths for singing. Too many people see a whole note on a page and think, "Oh holding a note is easy, I can do that," and then they skip it altogether! Anyway, it takes time and work but it's possible, especially for someone as amazing as Amy. :)
