@TheMrtechstuff100 Brushwood, found in 1-1 dungeon, by have pure white or pure black world tendency, i think. Or kill biorr of the twin fangs in 1 2, easies way is in 1-4 by bthe blue dragon the dragon will kill him you take remains lol.

best strategy for the octopussys is hit them until they start 'bleeding out' hold back wait a few seconds watch his health decrease slowly but surely then when he stops bleeding run in and finish him off. p.s have the masters ring equipped (the one you killed miralda the executioner)

True, but this takes up Magic Slots that you could otherwise use for Warding or something else.

@PopePopo things here don't do a lot of physical damage. plus Anti Magic Field is a Miracle magic so it dosn't take up slots for Spells like Warding

i guess it depends on your character. i have 4 Magic slots and 2 Miracle slots

Good strategy on the octopusses :

Come close enough so they don't do Soul Arrow. They will lift their head, which means they'll cast the paralysis move. Move backwards and you'll see it will hit the wall. The Octopuss will still move towards you. When he does, give him 1 hard attack (preferably double hand Meat Cleaver/Bramd and do roll+R1 for an instant hit), then quickly dodge backwards because he'll do the barrier. Afterwards he'll re-try the paralysis. Repeat. May take some trial and error

when i got it whenever i was getting my ass kick i leave it like for 2 weeks

besides i eat many of my souls so i never could upgrade weapons or spells..

at the end when i finally got the hang of it.. i finish it in like 4 days... i started a new game and the i think i did everything better... xD..

fastest way to beat the Mind Flayers on these stairs is this:

just hold your weapon two hands (or get a nice strong sword like Meat Cleaver or Keel Smasher ie. Dragon Bone Smasher, but still two hand it) then approach the Flayer but stand close to the left wall... He'll shoot the lightning stun ball and it will hit the wall, then he will rush into melee range. What you do next is self explanitory

yes, sometimes unintentional as well. one time i put down a blue eye stone in this level to see if i can help someone and ended up getting summoned by the old monk as a black phantom.

if you manage to win the fight as the black phantom you get that crazy looking tornado head piece thingy

i could not get that close to the octopus monsters, cause i had the crescent falchion equipped and it was regen my magic, which cause an aura that they can detect even with the graverobbers ring on.... theyd be a lot easier if they couldnt sense me :p

Go back the nexus and there is this guy who teaches them to you for a fair price. You can find him on the bottom level. Just buy the spell... and then remember it. After that you can blow enemies away with magic attacks :)

he will teach you new spells by giving him boss souls. you can learn spells as a knight but you need more intelligence to equip more spells.

hes in one of the prison cells in 3-1. you will see his glowing light in his cell to notice him.

are these octapus head guys harder then the ones in 3-1 because i kill those guys in one power hit or two reg hits with my +7 winged spear, and you do like a backstab and two power hits then they die

these guys are phantoms... they dont recoil like the ones in 3-1. As long as you could keep hitting the ones in 3-1 they couldnt get a spell cast... these guys dont recoil, so they are free to cast whenever. If you get caught by the shock spell, you are pretty much toast

Im confused about how coop works in this game, is there a way to play with your friends? Or is it just random. And for this boss, what do you do if the person who is your "boss" is always better than you?

In Demon's Souls, players can team up with 3 other players online to form a group of 4 adventurers for a single level! The host (must be in physical body form) needs to find a blue text marker (which is left by players in soul form using "Blue Eye Stone"). You can check how many times that player was online and their ranking score percentage. Then you can choose to summon that player, he will show up in its "blue" phantom form.

to do co-op you have to summon them into your game they must be in soul form and use this blue stone thingy to leave a blue message then just rush to the message and summon them and hope you summon them before someone else and you could always beat this boss offline whitch is a better idea cuz there is a chance that there will be lag causing problems
